I let out a small sigh, clutching the few books I needed tighter to my chest. Even just taking a glance at this new, terrifying high school floods me with anxiety.

Well Mum, there goes your speech about bravery out of my brain.. Sorry.

As I stared at the concrete, which was filled with rocks that were quite beautiful, I got pushed a few times. By the ones who probably think they're incredibly cool because their parents are rich. Dear God, this is beginning to sound like the Hell that I call my old school.

Anyway, I think I'm getting off topic. I wanted to cheer out of happiness once I entered the place, but nope. That'd probably look a little (and by little, I mean a lot) to many people.

And me, being Kailyn, was still staring at the fricking ground. Was it actually that interesting? I was staring at it for awhile.

Crap. Focus, Kailyn.

I could only hear my racing heart and footsteps while I quickly walked to my locker, despite the loud chattering and sprinting that was happening. Just step, after step, after step, then I walked into a tall figure, making me fall with a squeak and spread out on the floor, my books sliding away from me on the clean floor. Great pain spread across my arm and I gasped, my eyes closing tightly with a few curses let out.

Pain. It felt like it was demanding me to cry.

I opened one eye and looked at the male I bumped in with, feeling my face go hot after the embarrassing moment. "I- I'm s-sorry. ." I stuttered, shakily standing up and grabbing my books. "Ah, no. I should be sorry, also." A seemingly Texan accent responded with.

Was it Texan? I don't know. I'm Canadian, I can't identify every American accent there is.

I shot the brunette male a smile and walked off quietly, not letting out another single word.

A/N: Yay, chapter 1 done! Hopefully you enjoy it ^^ Xx
