-Kailyn's P.O.V-
"You know, I'll probably kick your ass!" Jason challenged with a smirk, spinning the soccer ball with his finger. I couldn't help but smirk back and reply with, "Mm, can't see that happening." I just made the challenge official. Great.
Staring at the blond man look around for something in confusion, I decided to not ask anything. But once he supposedly found what he was looking for, he shouted a loud "Hey!" and it, admittedly, made me jump.
Soon two boys, who seem very close, came sprinting to us with childish grins. "She's the woman you were talking 'bout?" One said with a nod in my direction. "And you expect one of us to team with her? She's a girl, for God's sake!" The other said. I gave a glare at him and he laughed, stopping abruptly with a shout of pain once I kicked the ball in his crotch area. "You expect me to team with you? You're an absolute douche!" I shouted, and he nodded then staggered away.
Jason laughed and gave me a high five, and the one who made an okay first impression patted me on the back. "She.got you, Leo." He said, and the seemingly Leo nodded with his eyes clenched tight.
I didn't show one bit of regret.
"Well, should we get this game started?" Jason asked, making my head turn to any direction just to avoid his lingering gaze on me. "Yeah. We should." I agreed, immediately standing by the okay one. "We're so going to beat you and Eric." Leo wheezed, standing up straight with a.pained look. "You have a strong kick, Kailyn. Kudos to you." He forced a smile at me.
Then the game started.

"Sorry about Leo, he can be a real jerk sometimes." Jason apologized, and I smiled at him. "It's not your fault," I said softly. "You're not him, correct?" I questioned him, and he let out a small laugh. "No, I guess.."
Well, just a small chapter :) Hopefully I can upload tomorrow! (Is this story going too slow?) xx
