4. Rumours spread quickly

They hug me as I cry, it feels like hours before I stop crying, but really it's only twenty minutes. We sit there for a while not saying anything, I really thought he liked me.

Yeah I probably should of known he didn't like me he was a player and a bad boy.

What would the chances of him liking me an average girl with controlling and strict parents, twin siblings and a younger brother and only two close friends that's all. That's all I have which is pretty sad.

"Okay this calls for a movie day! With lollies and ice cream just the way we used to!!" Ruby said slightly pulling away, "just like when we were younger?"

Indi asks making Ruby nod, "including the fort."

"Okay I'll get some more pillows and blankets, Ruby get the snacks and drinks, Ali you chose the movies!" Indi says before leaving the room, Ruby leaves in a couple seconds.

I sigh getting up and going to my cupboard where my movies sat.

Deciding I wanted to escape reality I decided to chose something that could entertain me for hours, vampire diaries.

I don't know how far we would get in it but we'll start from season one. I grab all six seasons and put them on my bedside table and plug in my laptop turning it on.

Ruby and Indi come back in with all the stuff, Ruby puts down all the snacks and we start to make the fort on my bed . I put the laptop against the head board and set pillows out in front of it so we could lay down and bring the food in on either side of the laptop.

I put in the first disk of season one and grab a tub of cookies and cream ice cream. I was in the middle, we all had a spoon and started digging in when it starts.

"OH COME ON ELENA YOU CAN TRUST HIM!!" I yell at my laptop along with the girls, we were up to the episode where Elena finds out that stefan and Damon are vampires.

Okay well maybe I wouldn't trust him that much but I wouldn't break up with him he never hurt her.

I wouldn't trust Damon though he's an asshole but he is hot and he can be sweet! I've seen most of the episodes of vampire diaries before up to season six, but I like to rewatch them sometimes.

"NO! DON'T BREAK UP WITH HIM STAY WITH HIM YOU'S ARE SO CUTE!!!" Ruby and Indi yell together I must of zoned out.

As we watched, my mind kept drifting in and out of focus on the show. I look back at the screen trying to focus back into the movie. Sighing I grab the ice cream tub and start to crawl out, "where you going?" Indi asks as Ruby clicks the space bar pausing the movie.

"To put away the ice cream I don't want the rest to melt!" Ruby nods and plays the movie again knowing I wouldn't mind, I have seen most of the episodes at least twice. I head downstairs in my black singlet and blue trackies with socks and my hair in a messy bun.

I walk into the kitchen where I saw my mum who was cutting up fruits. "Hey honey how'd the dinner go?" She asked I smiled at her putting the ice cream in the freezer, "great why do you ask?" I ask trying to act normal.

"I thought I heard crying this morning that's all!" She says turning back to the fruits after grabbing a bowl and plate. Putting the fruits in both, my eyes widen shit she heard!

What do I say um ah "really that's weird." I say, mum chuckles "I must just be hearing things, now! Here are some fruit for you and the girls have some healthy stuff with all that ice cream."

Mum says handing me a bowl of strawberries, blueberries, apples and some other fruit. I thank her and head upstairs to my room. Hoping that dad didn't hear, he would know I was lying.
