Buffy ran out of the mausoleum. Her breathing erratic and her body hurting. The vampire she was up against was not like any she had fought before. This was very strong and fast and she was lucky she made it out. If it wasn't for the cross necklace she had, she could've been vamp dinner.

She looked around trying to see where her friends were. Once she spotted them she ran over. Willow was on the ground with a vamp on top of her. She was about to go stake it when Alec came in and punched the vampire off her. A sickening crack filled the air. The vampire quickly ran away and Alec kneeled down next to Willow. She ran over to them and luckily neither were hurt. Alec looked up at her relieved. He was getting worried when she hadn't come out of the mausoleum.

Xander's yells filled the air and the pais heads snapped over to find to Vampires dragging Xander away.

Alec and Buffy ran over.

Buffy kicked one off of Xander and before the Vamp could think Buffy had staked it. She turned to help Alec but saw the vamp explode to dust in front of him. He walked back over to them. "Are you okay?" She asked.

He nodded his head. "Yeah, I'm fine. I killed it." He said. She was very confused. There was no stake in his hands. "Where's Jessie?" He asked. He didn't like Buffy looking at him like that. It would make her curious and she couldn't find out what he was yet. It would cause to many complications and questions that he just couldn't answer.

Xander sat up rubbing his head and said, "that girl grabbed him and took off."

"Where'd they go?" Alec asked, looking around for a glimpse of a vampire or Jessie. "Crap." He muttered. The vamps had got Jessie and now most likely he was dead. He blamed himself. If he had been paying attention then this wouldn't of happened. "Come on. We better go." He said, helping Xander and Wilow up.

The next day the four teens sat around the table as Giles was explaining to Willow and Xander the dangers in the world. Although Alec didn't really want to listen to his Uncle explain a bunch of stuff he already knew he had to because his Uncle was maing him. Otherwise he would've been gone a while ago.

"This world is older then any of you know. It did not begin as a paradise, demons walked the earth made it there home. All that remains is certain creatures. Vampires."

"See, this is where I have a problem, we're talking about vampires, where having a conversation with vampires in it." Xander said. He really wished that this was a bad dream and that he would wake up in bed and this would all be over.

Willow looked around confused and asked, "Isn't that what we saw last night?"

"No those weren't vampires they were just guys in thunder need of a facial or maybe they had rabies and that guy turning to dust just a trick of light." Buffy said. "That's exactly the first thing I said when I first saw a vampire. Well after I was done with screaming part."
