Cosplaying (Halloween special)

Halloween was maybe your favorite holiday. You stopped tricker treating, but never stopped dressing up. Before camp half-blood, you would go to quiet parties with snacks.

Now you were going to demigod parties with food.

This was your first year at Camp Half-Blood. You had a best friend named Leo Valdez, who, unbeknown to you, had grown feelings for you.

You both loved the same things.

MCR

Youtubers,

Panic! At the disco

Basically everything he liked, you loved.

So you thought it would be fun to dress up together. You decided you two were gonna be sneaks. It was an inside joke.

One time you both ended up wearing all black, and called each other sneaks all day.

Of course it had to have a twist. And that twist was "Welcome to the black Parade." Themed.

You were currently in the bathroom, listening to "Mama" as loud as you could on your speakers.

Your sibling(s) were off, helping set up the party.

Once "Mama" ended, "Teenagers started to play.

You pulled your hair into a tight pony tail brushing your hair back.

"They said all teenagers scare THE LIVING SH** OUTTA ME!"

You screamed. Leo poked his head through the door, with his stupid smirk on.

"Hiya (Y/N)." He said, watching you put black eyeliner all around your eyes.

"Sup Leo?" You asked, concentrating on the mirror.

"The party starts in an hour, just thought I'd tell you."

You nodded smiling at Leo, finishing your eyeliner, "thanks Leo."

He nodded and left you to change.

You pulled on your black leggings, along with your dark, long sleeved shirt. You put on a black trench coat over that, along with some black combat boots and you were done.

You walked out of the bathroom, scanning the room to see if Leo was still there.

You guys needed to practice.

You see, every special event at Camp Half-Blood, came with some sort of talent show.

You and Leo thought, why not sing something? Except Leo was playing the guitar for you.

When you finished getting ready, you brought Leo in your bathroom and sat him down. You stood on your tippy toes to get the eyeliner for his eyes, which was on a shelf right above him.

You almost fell backwards, but he caught you by your hips. You steadied yourself and felt the blood rush to your cheeks.

"Close your eyes." You stated, hoping he didn't already see your pink cheeks.

He did as he said and you worked on his eyes. He kept flinching, since he had a big case of ADHD, which of course made everything harder. Once you were done, you stood up straight and expected him.

"Perfect. Let's go." You said poking his forehead. He smiled, and did as he said.

You walked to the door, followed by Leo, who grabbed his guitar.

You went to the Aphrodite cabin, where the party was hosted. You didn't even knock, the door was already swung open.

"GUYS! COME ON WE WERE WAITING FOR YOU!" She yelled. You both smiled sheepishly at all the eyes on you guys  and walked in.

Everyone went on with their business, waiting for the two of you to finish setting up.

Once you did everyone was staring at you again. You were probably blushing, and extremely scared. You thought you sucked at singing, but in reality, you were pretty good.

You stared at Leo and he gave you an encouraging nod and started to play.

This is Gospel, for the fallen ones

Locked away in permanent slumber

Assembling their philosophies

From pieces of broken memories

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart

The gnashing teeth and criminal tongues

Conspire against the odds

But they haven't seen the best of us yet

If you love me, let me go

If you love me, let me go

You smiled to yourself really getting into the song, as people started to clap along, or even sing.

Cause these words are knives, and often leave scars.

The fear of falling apart

And truth be told I never was yours

The fear, the fear of falling apart

Oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart (2X)

Oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart (2X)

This is gospel for the vagabonds,

Ne'er-do-wells and insufferable bastards

Confessing their apostasies

Led away by imperfect impostors

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart (2X)

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart (2X)

Don't try to sleep through the end of the world

And bury me alive

'cause I won't give up without a fight

If you love me, let me go

If you love me, let me go

You glanced at Leo who was playing everything perfect. He was getting into the song, falling to his knees, playing the best he could, which was amazing.

Cause these words are knives, and often leave scars.

The fear of falling apart

And truth be told I never was yours

The fear, the fear of falling apart

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

The fear of falling apart

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

The fear, the fear of falling apart

Oh oh oh oh oh oh

This is the beat of my heart

This is the beat of my heart

The fear of falling apart

People screamed and clapped as Leo stood up, breathing heavily. He cupped your cheeks and kissed you, and you immediately responded, your hands going to his curls. That only got you a louder cheer.
