Chapter 31: Fixed

=== Dipper's POV ===

"Hiccup! Where have you been?"

"Well,you know. Finding this."

He showed me something. A flower. A beatiful red and yellow flower unlike anything I've seen before.

"Is this..it?"

"Yep. That's it! The rare flower." Fishlegs said from behind, with a big grin on his face.

"Hiccup! Did you heard all that booming?" Mabel said

"Uh... yes and we know why."

"Really? Why?"

"Because of... us"

Ruff and Tuff emerged from behind

"What did you do now?"

"Well... long story short, while searching for the flower, we had a little encounter with.... uhm, Changelings." Astrid said

"Really? What did you do?"

"Well, Fishlegs here hit one."

"I thought you said Changelings-with an s- how did the others react to that?"

"Good question, Snotlout. Turns out, the Changeling Fishlegs hit was a rogue one..and the other Changelings have been having trouble with it for years, can you believe it?"

"Woah. But then... how did you get the flower?"

"They gave it to us! As a sign of gratitude! Unbelievable!"

"And it's all because of Fishlegs" Hiccup said

"D'aaw. No need to thank me. It's... it's a tiny thing, really" But Fishlegs was red as a tomato!

"No, Fishlegs. Thank you. Thank all of you. For helping us go home. We appreciate it, really." I said.

"Speaking of... how's the thing?"

"It's called-- nevermind. It's done. I guess the only missing thing is the flower. When we insert it, it should work now" I said

I named the Oth-Imensioner for a purpose, and no one's even using it.

"Great! But a while back the long and quiet search, I realized something." Hiccup said.

"What is it?"

"A problem"

"Again? When do problems end here?"

Hiccup chuckled at that, "Huh. I guess it doesn't."

"Anyway,we need like,a storm right? A lightning storm,like you said?"

"uh-huh.... oh. Right. Does storm usually occur here?"

"Usually hail or snow storm, but yeah I guess we get those kind of storms occasional-"

"HICCUP!"

"Dad?"

"Evacuate all dragons. You and your friends here should be to safety."

"Why?"

"Storm's coming."

Hiccup smiled at that, "Well I'll be darned" He whispered under his breath

Before I knew it, everyone was celebrating. Cheering. And who was I to not join?

"We're going home,Mabel! Home!"

"I know, Dipper. Home" She smiled

=== Wendy's POV ===

"That's IT? They went to another dimension and then what? THE BOOK ENDS THERE? Well, did they ever got home, or something? WHAT KIND OF BOOOK IS THIS?"

"Wendy? What's wrong? Who... what are you screaming at? "

"It's nothing, Dad. Just a book. Can you please leave me alone"

"After you ditched us? I don't think so, sweetie. I think I'm gonna ground you. Say, 1 week."

Oh,thanks. Just what I need.

"Oh, by the way, It's nice to see you reading again. Maybe you're just grounded for 3 days. Now get some sleep, would you?" Then he shut the door. Finally.

Okay,Wendy. You need to calm yourself. Breathe. It's just a book, okay? Just a boo--

What? What is that light? Where is it coming from? I better check it out. Good thing it's already evening and I bet they're exhausted from the trip, so I... can sneak out.

It's coming from just outside the house. It's almost fading out, so I think I better hurry.

Getting closer, I can now see better. I see two figures... people? And they're kinda small... kids?

Are the kids just playing a prank? Oh those geeks, they better not!

Wait, I think they are...waking up?

Yes! Yes,they are! I better help them.

"Are you kids okay?" I said as I got closer to them.

No way. This isn't possible. I couldn't believe my eyes.

"M-Mabel? D-Dipper?"

"Huh?"

"Wendy?"

"Where are we?"

"Are we home?"

And then they passed out again.

=== Omniscient's POV ===

Yeah, I forgot to mention something earlier.

Remember that after they travelled to another dimension, several days after and poof, they don't exist?

Same goes if they go back.

Only after several days and things will go back to normal.

I know, I could've told you earlier.

But where's the thrill in that?
