CHAPTER 16

Chapter 16:

~ Katie's POV ~

Our last day here and will return back to the camp but after that I will go back here. Sigh.

"Any problem Katie?" Kendall taps my shoulder.

I nod.

"Why? Aren't you happy with the recording thingy?" He asks.

I didn't tell them that I will return here and stay until I debut and launch my album.

"No, not that but-"

I got interrupted when we heard someone knocks.

"I'll get it." Carlos says.

He stands up and checks who it is.

"Jo!" I heard him say.

Jo? Who's Jo?

"Jo is here?" I heard Kendall mumbled surprise.

He jumps off the couch and go to the door.

Carlos walks in as I look at them, curious to see Jo. A blonde girl is following him. Jo is actually a girl?

"Hi guys!" She waves at Logan and James.

I look at her and unexpectedly our eyes met, I look away ashamed.

"Who is she?" She asks, pointing a finger on me.

"She's Katie." James says.

Wait, where's Kendall? I thought he go look out and check who is it?

"Katie?" She asks, confused.

"But Katie is this tall, right?" She says, levelling her shoulder.

The boys look at each other and laugh. I also wanna laugh but I decided to hide it. Jo is weird, huh.

"No. She's different Katie. Katie Gibbs." Carlos says between his laugh.

"Ooh! Hi there." She face-palm then wave at me.

I smile at her and nod.

"I thought Katie grow up fast." She says, laughing.

"Where's Kendall?" Logan interrupts.

"When he saw me, he said he's gonna get some fresh air." She says, sighing.

Is she Kendall's girl?

"Oh well, I drop here to give you this." She opens her shoulder bag and gets something.

"What is it?" James asks.

"Here." She handed the tickets.

"Since you're their friend, here." She gives me one also.

"T-thanks."

Carlos sit beside me as Jo sit beside James.

Where's Kendall anyway? I'm mentally lost here.

"The premiere night will be on Sunday. I hope you'll come." She says, making her face more pleasing.

"We'll try. Tonight we will go back to the camp site and we are not sure if Gustavo would allow us to go." Logan shrugs.

"I hope he will." Jo pouts.

"We will try, though." James pats her.

They were in the middle of conversation and I'm completely lost. I stand up and was planning to find Kendall. They didn't notice me so I'm good to go.

I look at the hotel's lounge and lobby but no signs of Kendall.

I go outside and saw him there, sitting and looking far away.

"Kendall." I whisper.

He turn around and look at me, he nods.

"Why are you here?" I ask, standing behind him.

"Just getting some fresh air. You, why are you here?"

I can't tell him that I was actually looking for him.

"I... I'll go buy some chocolates for the kids as I promised." I say, not looking at him.

"Ooh! That sweet thing. I will have one too, right?" He asks, staring at me.

I nod, as I blush.

"I'll go with you. I saw a sweet store down the street." He gets up and walks.

"Oh... Ok." I say, following him.

After we bought sweets. He was too quiet and like he's not in this world. He's not like the Kendall I meet in the camp.

"Can I ask?" I say, getting his attention.

"Hmm." He just hummed.

"Who's-"

I got interrupted when I saw flashes. Paparazzi? Really?

"Oh man!" He muttered.

He put his hand around my shoulder, covering my face and like protecting him. He ignores the questions that the paparazzi throw.

"Who is she?"

"Are you two dating?"

"You and Jo Taylor are totally over?"

They throw lots of questions as we ignore them and walk away from them.

"Is it true that Jo Taylor dumps you?"

Jo? The one who gave tickets?

"Will you attend the premiere night of the first ever movie of Jo and Jet?"

"Who is this girl? Is she your new girl?"

We completely ignore them as we got into the hotel grounds and the security stop them.

Wheeew!

We go in the elevator, he's arms is still on my shoulder.

"You'll be used to it." He muttered.

Used to it? Used to what?

I look at him strange and clueless.

"I mean, when you got your debut and get popular." He adds.

Oooh! I thought...

Nevermind.
