A night, cold and bleak, alarms ring through the air. Sirens echoing down empty streets, heading toward one of few exquisite malls left in America, S.C.P. A crime was committed with a clever girl taking lead as the culprit. The girl, whose upper face was concealed with a teal mask, ran down the mall's halls with a blue gem sloppily covered in her hands. She burst through the back exit to find it surrounded, by cars lighted in blue and red.
"Ace. I'm glad you could join us. So how's 'bout you put that gem down and surrender?" a man's husky voice stated confidently.
"My, my if it isn't sir officer McDavis as confident as ever. I would think that you would know at this point, that it's not going to happen...That is without a winning fight," the masked culprit replied in a calm voice, as she lifted her head to face the eyes of the voice's owner.
He was a tall, middle aged male, with slicked back black hair. His face was what some can call handsome or charming. Now this man, whose name is Jason McDavis, is currently head of the most wanted divison at the police department, with the department's top wanted, Ace, his priority.
The man then smirked. "Why does it always come down to this? You and you comrades always state the same thing. But since you insist... Men get her," McDavis said in a confident voice. Soon many officers charged towards the girl.
"Sorry sir but I'm beat. So let's continue this another time," Ace tiredly said as she swiftly dodged attacking officers. As her attackers fall one by one, Ace jumped and landed gently on one of the cars blocking her path. She then, acting quickly, took a playing card out from a pouch that was strapped to her upper thigh. "Till then." She then whisper a chant. Instantly, she vanished before the officers could retaliate her swift moves.
"Ace... you will be caught," he uttered with frustration, "Even if it's the last thing I do!" McDavis yelled in full rage of bewilderment. "Men I want everyone to be on the lookout for her. Now get!"
