Cancer 1-2 Cancer Introductions

--Third Person's POV--

"I'm having doubts about Captain's decision about this." the calm brown hair boy states standing at the second floor of the ship beside the rail with his arms crossed.

"Despite having these doubts, we still have to follow them. He is our Captain." the dark brown hair boy sighs standing on the first floor.

"Why do we have to get a girl? A boy would have been so much easier." Ren growls.

"But she's a good fighter. We've all heard about her accomplishments.

"But...how about if they were just rumors. Gossips. Lies." the white hair boy sadly chirps in.

The whole group stays silent as their Captain stands on the second floor above them all with his eyes closed.

"They're true." he speaks getting all the attention from his crew,"All the accomplishments done by the 'Legendary Protector' is true."

"How do you know, Captain?" Aven asks curious along with the others.

"Cause I've seen it with my own eyes." he states opening his eyes with a smile.

They all just stare at the man in charge of the ship.

"Fine. So perhaps the rumors are true about her, but do remember that she refused your offer of being in your crew. What can you do about that?" the brown hair boy reminds getting nods from everyone remembering the few minutes ago.

The Captain chuckles,"Oh, she won't be able to refuse. I know for a fact."

That's when the door opens leading them all to look over there.

--Few minutes ago - Yuki's POV--

The tears in my eyes don't stop as they continue to make a pool on the floor. My voice is strained as I choke on my feelings. In the box was hundreds of small square paper with scribbles on them. All these scribbles were familiar as I've been always seeing them for the past year. They were from the town. Reading through them, I continue to cry even more of what they say. All of them leading to only one thing.

I'll miss you, Yuki. Have a great adventure!

If you need someone to lean on, we'll always be here!

But what I read first was a whole paper full of scribbles from the most familiar handwriting. My boss's.

Dear Yuki,

As you may already know, or experience, you've been 'kidnapped' by the Cancer Pirates. But this whole thing was all planned. We knew that having you stuck in this village like a caged bird will never allow you to experience anything from the outside world. So all the citizens have decided to force you to go out and finally be free to spread your wings. And this plan began a few months ago. As you were taking care of bandits on the coast side, the captain of the Cancer Pirates came to visit us. He asked about you, and we told him about you. The only way he got information from us is when we made a deal, we'll tell him everything we know about you, and he'll bring you out to the world. We're sorry, Yuki. We're sorry for being a burden to you. We're sorry for doing this to you. We get it if you won't forgive us, we just want you to know, that we're sorry. But it's for your own good. Just know this, we love you and will always will.

My breathing was unstable as I continue to choke from the air. Idiots. You've never been a burden to me. And of course I'll forgive you. Idiots. Idiots. Idiots. As I continue to cry with hundreds of notes and letters all around me, beneath them all was a package. Wiping the tears, I take out the package to find it soft. Opening it up, my eyes widen from what's inside as a note pops up.

For your new adventure - From Everyone

Instead of continuing to cry as I know that will do me no good, I smile from all the memories I've had in that town.

Opening the door, my eyes meet up with all the ones staring at me. All of them were in the state of shock as the only one who smirked was the Captain himself.

"I see you've decided." he nods.

"How am I able to decide with that?" I reply still holding my cold mask.

He shrugs as I walk over to them to fill the uneven circle they made. They all stare at me as I stand there.

"Stop staring." I snap getting them to break their daze by looking away but Aven smiles brightly towards me.

"You look cute!" He chirps getting me to flinch and look away with a small blush.

I was wearing a white sleeveless collar shirt with a red ribbon. On top of it was a black sleeveless vest that was five inches longer than my shirt. Blue denim shorts were only a inch shorter than my jacket showing my legs as one is wrapped in bandages and another has a high knee sock. Dark brown boots occupy my feet as two sections of belts dangle from it. Both my legs had a pitch wrapped between my short and the sock or bandage. My arms also had the same thing as my legs but the opposite sides. The hands were covered by black gloves that were easy to move in.

"Thanks..."I mumble also liking the outfit the villagers gave me.

Before we could continue an awkward silence between all of us. The captain claps his hands getting everyone's attention.

"Okay then! Shall we get ready for the night? Everyone knows their jobs?" He states getting nods from everyone before they all separate apart.

I look up to the captain,"What should I do?"

"Just sit around. You don't need to do anything." He smiles before walking egging me to feel even more of a burden.

Walking around, I smell food getting me to follow over there since I don't know where else to go. Peeking inside the kitchen, the boy cooking looks back at me.

"What do you want?"
