Trapped in your heart

(Just before I start this chapter I want you to know this will probably be the last chapter. There will be tears of happiness and sadness for all. Enjoy!)

*Toby's POV*

Spencer is still crying into my shirt. She's holding on to my shirt so much that her knuckles are going white. She hasn't said anything in the last 10 minutes. "My dad......... Slept with someone" she finally said. She bursts into tears. In between sobs she manages to say "I found them together. In the barn. You went home and Melissa went to go get dinner. I went out to the barn to get a movie. When I walked in I saw her. I saw her touching him. She was kissing him. He was kissing her." She buried her head into my shoulder. "Spence, who was it?" I say quietly. "It was........... Tanya. I sat for a minute, trying to think who Tanya was but I've never heard that name before. "Spence, who's Tanya?" I ask gently. "No, I said Ashely." I didn't bother to argue. Ashely who? The only Ashely I can think of is Ashely Marin? It can't be her. I'll ask later, right now I need to be here for Spencer right now.

I sat for a while just holding her. She finally sat up. "Where are you going" I say, my voice cracking. I was nearly asleep. "Toilet" she said. We both smile lightly and she walks away.

An hour later, Spencer had settled down. We were all cuddled up on the couch with a blanket over us. "Spence" I whisper "Ashely who?" She looks at me. "Ashely Marin". She said before cuddling into my shoulder. Why would Ashely do that?

Caleb phoned me a couple hours later when Spencer was asleep beside me. "Hey, did you hear?" I ask. "Yeah, Hanna told me why. Are you with Spencer?" He asks. "Yeah. Why?" "You need to move for 2 minutes till I tell you why Spencer's dad did what he did." He said very seriously. I carefully move away from Spencer and out the back door. "Okay, tell me." I say.

Caleb told me everything and I finally understand. Spencer's dad is always away to 'work trips'. He lays woman to sleep with him. Pervert. He is sick. He paid over $200 dollars to Hanna's mom just so he could get laid. How am I going to tell Spencer? This was going to be hard.

When I walk in to the house, Spencer's not on the couch. That's when I notice the bathroom light. She comes out with my shirt on. The shirt I left here at the start of summer. She looked so good. "Who was that?" She asks as she walks towards me stretching. "Oh em... Caleb" I say. She comes and sits on my knee. "What did he say?" "He  told me why your dad did what he did. You should sit down" she slides off my knee and on to the couch. I tell her everything.

We fall asleep talking. It must have been 4am before I actually fell asleep. Once I had told Spencer we just sat trash talking her dad. We laughed so hard. I have just woke up and Spencer is all curled up beside me. She was facing me with her arms around me. She's so adorable. I kiss her forehead and it makes her stir. I whisper in her ear "your beautiful when you sleep" and I see her smile. She's pretending to sleep. "You are so sexy" I whisper. She lets out a soft moan and I start to giggle. She strokes my arm with her hand. Her eyes are still closed I start to kiss the side of her face and down her neck. She lets out a really quiet moan that only I could hear. "Toby" she said, her eyes still closed and playing with the front of my hair. "Yeah" "I need to get up, it's the last day of the holidays" she said smiling. "Okay, let's go"

We get ready and head to the brew to meet everyone. Bye everyone I mean, Aria, Ezra, Hanna, Caleb, Emily and Alison. Alison was going to be there but I wasn't going to say a word to her. We walked in and saw Aria, Ezra, and Emily sitting there. We took our seats and started talking when Hanna and Caleb walked in. As soon as Spencer saw Hanna she got up and ran over to her. They started to hug and everyone was confused, except me and Caleb. They were talking and then sat down with us. Spencer and Hanna told everyone what happened and were told not to tell Alison. They all promised they wouldn't. She never showed up so we all left and went to the park where we played soccer, hide and seek, and had a picnic. It was the best day ever. We all had so much fun. At one point it was guys against girls. I was so competitive, especially at sport. The girls were winning by one goal to nil. I tried to tackle Spencer but failed. Instead of getting the ball I tripped and fell, then Spencer tripped and fell on top of me. We burst out laughing and so did everyone else. We sat like that for ages until Hanna took the ball and scored again. We ended up loosing to 4 girls. I will never forget it.

*one year later*

Spencer and I are still together and summer is just starting. We just graduated high school and Spencer and I are going to buy an apartment somewhere far from Rosewood. Spencer's mom ended up divorcing her dad and I don't blame her.For the rest of the crew, we're all going our separate ways. We promise to keep in touch and meet up at least once every 3 months. As for that jerk Luke. I've never seen him since. Rumour says he moved to Europe but I'll never know. It's Spencer and I's first anniversary and I'm going to surprise her with an apartment in Florida. I can't wait to tell her. I love her so much and I'm going to spend the rest of my life with my family, friends and the love of my life.

I don't know where I'll end up but as long as I have Spencer, I'll be fine.
