"ohayo!" Dan said as he realized Phil had woken up.
"ohayo. why are we saying good morning in Japanese?" he replied groggily. Dan shrugged his shoulders.
"yesterday I was watching a lot of anime before I came here. also sorry for the surprise sleep over... again" Dan scratched the back of his neck. Dan had accidentally fallen asleep at phils house many times. sometimes Phil had fallen asleep at dans house, they just weren't at dans house a lot.
"it's -" Dan bit his lip, suddenly nervous under phils gaze. Dan was nervous for no reason, as Phil was just saying that it was okay or something. yet, Phil was effected by the way the boy bit his lip.
"-fine" he breathed out.
it was about two days ago that Phil had had the dream. that's what Phil referenced it as, not wanting to say something like "sex dream". so he just called it the dream. Phil had started acting more... shy, you could say. and he had certain thoughts about the brown haired male. they were random and they were dirty, and Phil certainly did not appreciate them.
Dan and Phil had also gotten closer the past month. not to the point of actually hanging out in school, but they did wave to each other sometimes in the hallway. Troye had started hanging out with Dan and the others more often, to avoid Tyler and Marcus as they had started going out after Marcus comforted him after the break up. also Joe kept disappearing mysteriously during most lunch periods, confusing the more popular gang.
"what time is it?"Dan asked.
"about 11" Phil replied. Dan sighed; phils voice was groggy and rough and Dan couldn't help but find it a bit... attractive.
then suddenly chitose came up and took off her glasses and had a very sexual fantasy about them, causing her to die of blood loss from her nose bleed.
(no I'm kidding it was a Halloween prank ok back to the actual thing)
both Dan and phils phones buzzed. they then realized that they had been added to a kik group chat.

"okay 1. it isn't something you just casually bring up 2. I thought everyone knew" Phil said. Dan facepalmed as he realized that for some reason he was left out on something as pointless as phils sexuality. apperantly everyone but him knew up until a few minutes ago.
"let's just eat. after all, you did make these pancakes for me, so thanks babe " Dan said. the nickname was a casual thing now, it just kinda happened.
"okay sure" Phil said, gesturing to Dan to sit down at the table and eat the delicious delia smith pancakes.
they ate in silence, too busy enjoying the Delia to talk.
"do you like someone, Dan?" Dan nearly started choking as he heard the question.
"i-uh-yes. I think I do, I'm not sure I'm just really confused with my feelings right now" Dan stuttered.
"who is it?" that was when Dan really choked.
"I don't feel comfortable talking about this topic so let's move on, yeah?" (wow Dan ur so feckin subtle)
"okay" Phil said, dropping the subject.
"we need to get back to work on the project. I know we still have like 2 months left until it's due but I still want to finish in good time" Phil said. Dan nodded.
"I agree. let me just finish this Delia Smith goodness"

"Phil is it okay if I sleep over again? it's late and I'm too lazy to go home now" Dan whined. Phil smiled, happy to have the boy to himself for another night.
"sure, it's fine with me. let's do something"

Dan couldn't beleive the random and sexual thought he had just had, face turning a more pinkish color. he didn't know that Phil was having similar thoughts like that.
"let's stay up late" Dan suggested. he didn't think that they were going to stay up until 6am, making the boys so sleep deprived that they were practically drunk.
both realized that the other was very truthful when they were very tired
