Everyday, these appear in conversations, or just day to day life for myself.
These are the meanings behind some of the sentences that I use regularly, and the real meaning behind it.

For example:

1. I'll be a minute
I'm going to take about an hour, so you might want to get comfortable.

2. I'm about to leave
Yeah... But in another fifteen minutes.

3. I'm doing homework
I'm really playing angry birds on my phone under this table.

4. I've already done my homework
If you exclude the three history assignments, four essays and presentation due tomorrow.

5. Don't worry, I have it under control
You might want the fire department on speed dial, cause I so don't have this under control.

6. I know what I'm doing
I have absolutely no clue what I am holding in my hands.

7. I'm almost ready
If I'm being totally honest, I'm nowhere near ready.

8. I can totally do that
I wouldn't bet on it.

9. Yes, I cleaned my room
If you mean shove everything in my closet, and clear a walkway from the door to my bed, then yeah, I totally cleaned my room.

10. I got an A on that test last week
Well... the letter after E. But that's still close!

Make sure to let me know if you can't relate to any of these!
