"Dean, please come back to me." Cas begged desperately, tears streaming down his cheeks. Dean didn't respond; the coma he was in was too deep. Cas went silent as the tears continued to flow. He gripped Dean's hand as tight as he could as the doctor came in. The doctor looked at Cas sadly and said, "I'm sorry, but we don't think he will ever wake up." Cas's eyes widened and a fresh crop of tears began falling. The doctor bowed his head and muttered, "I'll leave you two alone for now." Then he walked out, leaving the room silent except for the heart monitor beeping. Shoulders shaking violently, Cas whispered, "I'll save you, Dean. I promise. I'll find a way." He squeezed Dean's hand lightly, then leaned over and pressed his lips to Dean's cheek.

~Inside Dean's head~

Dean was still in Purgatory. He grunted as the vampire he was fighting pinned him to the ground, moving its teeth closer and closer to his neck. Then, a blade went straight through the vampire's neck, completely severing its head. There, looking down at him and holding a machete, was Cas. He looked no different than he normally did, with his trench coat and messy hair, but to Dean he was the most beautiful man in the world. Cas held out a hand and pulled Dean up, saying, "I'll save you, Dean. I promise. I'll find a way." Then, about ten feet from them, a portal opened. Dean grabbed Cas's hand and ran towards it, hoping they could make it. He jumped in, pulling Cas behind him. Then they were falling.

~In the hospital room~

Cas leaned back and began to stand when Dean's eyes suddenly flew open and he shouted. Cas yelled for the doctor and the doctor ran in as Dean sat up, panting and shaking. Then Dean's eyes landed on Cas and his eyes filled with tears as he said, "Cas. You're okay." The doctor began unhooking Dean from all the machines and such, explaining to Dean that he had been in a coma and that it was thought he wouldn't wake up. As soon as Dean was completely unhooked, he got out of the bed and walked unsteadily to Cas, wrapping him in a hug.

A/N: I'm just gonna leave this here. I'm sorry. FYI, I know comas don't work like this, but I don't care.
