**Taylor'sPOV**

I pushed the employee's entrance door of Nando's open, trudging inside. I skipped into the kitchen, dumping my bag and coat on a table and pulling my apron on.

I pulled my phone out of the back pocket of my shorts, along with my earphones. I pulled the beanie off my head and shoved it into my bag, ready for later.

I slipped into the staff bathroom quickly, switching my Work playlist on and shoving my phone down my top into my back bra pocket. I'd sewn one on just for this cause alone.

I walked back out just as I placed my earphone in my ear and covered it with the hair that I had sweeped over one shoulder.

"HEY MAGGIE!" I yelled to another one of the employee's here that I got on with. I walked out of the kitchen, snatching my notepad off the side as I did so.

I sighed before heading over to the first table in my section, leaving Sophie's until afterwards. Hers was empty anyway.

Sophie was my best friend, who was at the doctors for half an hour, so I took over her section, as well as mine, until she got here.

"Hi, are you ready to order?"

* * * *

"SOPHIE!" I screamed, tackling her into a hug. I then pulled away and pouted, letting my eyes fill with fake tears. I was quite a good actress. "You, you left me." I sniffled, letting a few tears spill over.

"I know for a fact your messing around, c'mon." She grabbed my arm and pulled me out into the main area, ready to wait on people.

"Do I have to work?" I huffed as she pushed me towards my section, earning looks from customers.

"Yeah you do Jerry. I don't want you to get fired, 'cos then I'd have to work here alone." She told me. I stuck my tongue out at her and walked over to a table with a few boys on it in my section, leaving her to get on with hers.

Don't get me wrong, I love Sophie, but she was stressy at work sometimes.

"Hi, can I take your order?" I asked in a bored tone.

"Hi, can you give me some enthusiasm?" One of the boys said sarcastically.

"No, but I can knock your teeth out." I retorted, giving him a sickly sweet smile.

"Your a girl, do your best." I gave him the once over. He was short, stick thin, not a muscle in sight. He had short auburn hair and dull brown eyes. He had shaved part of his eyebrow off in attempt to look tough as well.

"I will. Wait until my shifts over and I'll show my best. Now can I take your order?" I asked again, trying to stop myself from lashing out.

"Three lots of the peri-peri chicken please, sweet thing. Oh and I'll take your number." He looked about 16 like the others.
