12|THE SOUL OF A FOX

Erik probably had the most amazing sleep he had gotten for the last decade. But the thing was Erik was feeling something was going to be completely wrong. Erik was able to sleep till ten am before awoken up to feeling hungry as hell. Erik rolled out of bed then getting ready for the day. Erik threw on his red hoodie before going down the stairs. He past Elijah and smiles. Elijah was relieved, his brother was finally getting good enough sleep.

Erik got his breakfast, cereal because he couldn't be bother to make anything else, and ate it as quick as he could. He went to the living space to see Klaus drawing and Kol reading. Erik looked at Klaus and smirks, "I never knew Klaus could have such a fancy." Klaus looked up and rolled his eyes, "Oh please, it's not going to happen unless I kill Tyler Lockwood." Erik shrugs and sat down, "I say that is a marvellous idea, if you didn't agree to non-violence." Kol laughs as Erik while Klaus stops drawing.

"And if I did kill Tyler, she has you." Klaus grumbled while Kol continued to laugh to his heart content. Erik looked at his older brother amused, "You think Caroline Forbes likes me? You have got that wrong, Caroline is my best friend." Erik explained whilst he leans back, he waved his wrist, "So have at it, Nikky, go get the girl." Klaus rolled his eyes, "You two are insufferably annoying and not helpful."

Erik rolled his eyes as he lean his head against his arm that was resting on the arm rest. Kol had taken up looking at himself in the hand held mirror, vain bastard, while Klaus continues to draw.

Erik was reading, it was a classic. Lord of the Rings. He had already read Harry Potter too many time to count, really.

Elijah is walking around the study and finds the burnt sage his mother used last night. Downstairs, Rebekah enters the living room, where Erik, Kol and Klaus are. Erik looked up from his reading and smiled at Rebekah who smiled lovingly back.  "Well, well, well, there's our girl!" Kol said as he stands before her and blocks her way.

Rebekah sneers at her youngest older brother, "Get out of my way, Kol." Kol ignored her and continue to mock his baby sister, like any other brother should do, "Out all night. What a scandal! I trust you did better than that commoner? Matt, was it?" Rebekah threatened, "If you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth."

Klaus grins as Erik lets out a small chuckle, Rebekah noticed and called them out on it, "Don't start, Nik! You too, Erik!" Klaus looked up and spoke defensively, "I didn't say anything."

Erik laughs, "Sorry, Bex. I just can't help to find your current mood amusing." Rebekah rolls her eyes at the youngest.

Kol sighs as he threw himself back into his armchair, being dramatic. "I'm bored. Our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun. I need entertainment." Klaus rolls his eyes as he continues to draw, "What are you waiting for? Go on, have at it." Kol moans like a little kid, "It's not fun to go alone. Join me, Nik! It's the least you can do after sticking a dagger in my heart."

Klaus looked up to see Kol with a pouty face as Erik tried not laugh at how Kol was terrible in persuading, "Okay. Why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Rebekah smiles as she spoke with sarcasm, "Yes, please go, this house has enough men rolling around it in."

Kol laughs as he and Klaus walk out, "Just like you, Bekah." Rebekah throws her shoe at Kol, "Good riddance, both of you!" Erik sighs, "Ignore him, Bex. He's just being his annoying self as usual." Rebekah smiles and ruffled his hair, "And this is why you are my favourite brother." Erik beamed at her. Elijah enters the room, still holding the burnt sage.
