BEFORE

Louis' P.O.V.

El came here a few minutes ago with my sister Lottie. I told her I'm just gonna fix myself up and go down help them in whatever they're doing.

I sat on my desk and turned my desktop on, just to see a new mail from an unknown e-mail address.

"Hey bud, guess who it is..." I stopped reading the mail because I'm scared who it might be,

"...it's been so long since I haven't mailed you. It's been pretty tough here in New York. It's um, I wanna say... I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for not keeping in touch with you, with mom and dad. I've been working in a studio company here in NY and just to update you, well at least if you still wanna know.. I'm doing just fine. You know music has been always our fave. I was too prideful back then, I guess. To leave you guys without saying goodbye. I regret it, I swear. It's been really hard for me. But I don't want to come back, I'm scared mom and dad won't accept me. And oh, I miss playing football with you.

Your duplicate,
Louis Gabriel Tomlinson.
New York"

I repeated reading the last few words in the mail. Your duplicate.

My twin brother.

He left us a year before I met El. He left because he just thought mom and dad wouldn't allow him to pursue his career in music so he left everything here. Home. He was scared, and I understand that.

Mom was crying for days, but then she kinda just realized it wasn't going to work out if he's not happy here. After that I can no longer see and feel the presence of my brother. My other half.

Receiving this mail had gotten me hopes again that he will come back soon enou-,

"Louis! Help me get my cupcakes from the oven please!," I heard El shouting from the kitchen. "It's too hot oh my god!"

"Hmm" The aroma of whatever they're making filled up the house and it smells so good.

I heard giggles from the two of the beautiful ladies in my life, my sis and my love.

The mail bothers me but still, I brushed all the thoughts of my brother for awhile though it makes me want to mail him back but instead, I headed downstairs.
