Chapter 6: First Date

JAKE'S POV

***THE NEXT DAY***

Today I am going to ask Alex on a date. I plucked up the courage to ask her to be my girlfriend, I think I'll be able to ask her out. She was sitting next to Chuppy, playing around with his hair. I could tell he was a little mad, but didn't want to yell at her. I silently laughed.

'C'mon,Jake! You can do it! Be a man' I thought. I'm gonna ask her!  

"Um,Alex,could you come here a minute?" I asked her. She nodded and got up. I saw Chuppy fixing his hair and I laughed. We went into the other room so we could be alone. "Alex,do you, um, want to go out on a date tonight?" I asked her, rubbing my neck. 'Say yes,say yes,say yes' I silentl begged.She smiled.

"Yes." She said. I grinned.

"What time?" She asked. I thought about it for a moment.

"How about 7?"  

"That's perfect." She looked at her phone. "Crap, that's in an hour!" She exclaimed.

"Really? I need to get ready!" I exclaimed and I ran to my room. I wanted to take her someplace fancy, maybe that new restaurant that just opened down the road. I put on a black shirt and a pair of black jeans. I am NOT wearing a fancy tie or whatever. They can kiss my ass if they think I'm getting that dressed up. After a few minutes, I was done. I went to sit next to Chuppy, who was playing around on his phone, smiling.

"Why are you all smiley?" I asked him. He looked up at me and grinned.

"I met this really cool girl at Starbucks this morning. Her name is Taylor." He said happily and I smiled. He finally found someone.

"I'm gonna go meet her at Starbucks, later."He said as he stood up, then stopped. "BYE ALEX!!" He yelled, running out the door. I just laughed.

"Where is he going?" I heard Alex ask from upsatirs.

"To Starbucks to meet up with some girl he met this morning." I yelled back to her.

"Finally, he might've found someone!" She yelled and I laughed.

"That's what I said!" About 10 minutes later, she came down and my jaw dropped. She looked absolutely gorgeous! I mean, she always does, but wow! She had on a black dress that had black lace sleeves, high heels with gold skulls on the fronts, a BVB winged necklace, a spiked bracelet which would probably wound someone, a skull ring and a spiked leather clutch. Some of her accessories could be used as weapons. She had her hair straightened, a thin layer of eyeliner on with black eyeshadow, black lipstick, and pink blush. She walked over to me and closed my mouth.

"Don't keep your mouth open honey, you'll catch flies." She joked, making me blush. I grabbed her hand and we walked to my car. After a few minutes, we were almost there "Where are we going?" She asked, bouncing around in her seat. I swear, she's just like her brother.

"You'll see." I said, turning into the restaurant. I saw her eyes widen.

"This is that new restaurant, right?" She asked, her eyes still wide.

"Yep."

"Why?"

"Because you deserve the best." I said, leaning down and kissing her. She broke the kiss and we entered the restaurant. "Table for 2, please." I said. The little fat host looked me up and down.

"Sir," he said in a boring voice. "All gentlemen need to wear a jacket to get in."

"Crap." I mumbled. "Do you have any place where I can get one?" I asked.

"Hmmm, there's a spot over there." He said, pointing to a little stand. I walked over to it and saw a black jacket.  "I'll have that one." I said, pointing to the jacket.

"That will be 10 dollars sir." Another pompous guy said, holding out his hand. I dug in my pocket and got out the money. He handed me the jacket and I put it on. I went back over to Alex.

"Table for 2, please." I said again, beginning to get annoyed.

"Follow me." The waiter said, leading us to our table. "I'll be back shortly." He said, leaving.

"Finally! I thought he'd never leave!" Alex said and I laughed.

"That douche telling me I have to wear a jacket." I mumbled, making her laugh. We had a fun night. The dinner was delicious. When we got back to the house, I kissed her goodnight. Well, one thing led to another and I think you can figure out what happened.
