The next morning, Chantel & Charde were getting ready for school. Charde knew that her little sister sneaked out of the house last night, but she'll just let her admit it.
Charde: *walking into Chantel's room* So, how was the party at Club Esquire last night?
Chantel: *putting on her makeup, plays dumb* What party?
Charde: You know damn good & well what party I'm talking about. You never skip your favorite meal.
Chantel: *turns to her sister* You don't know where I was at. I was in here all night.
Charde: Oh really? *walks to her window & looks out* Then why is the ladder knocked into the bushes outside of your window?
Chantel: I don't know how that got there.
Charde: I overheard your phone conversation with Mystic last night.
Chantel: Why were you listening to my private conversation?
Charde: You WERE talking loud, & I WAS passing by.
Chantel: Whatever. *puts her shoes on*
Charde: And I was watching the news this morning & saw that the Eastside Boys & Westside Boys got into a fight last night.
Chantel: Your point being?
Charde: I hope you ain't talking to Ray.
Chantel: Why not?
Charde: He's in a fucking GANG, Chantel!
Chantel: So?
Charde: You know what? I don't care what you do. When you're in a life or death situation because of him, don't even bother to call me.
Charde walks out & heads downstairs. Chantel shrugs off what her sister just said, not really caring what anyone thought. She grabs her bookbag & heads downstairs.
Gina: *washing dishes* Have a good day, you two!
Charde & Chantel: We will!
They both leave & goes to their regular meeting spot to wait on Rainy & Mystic.
Charde: Why are you talking to him?
Chantel: Ray's sexy, street smart, & has money. Believe it or not, he has a sweet side.
Charde: The fuck is so sweet about him?!
Chantel: He stood up for me last night when Baby Dee tried to take me away from him.
Charde: So you ADMIT you snuck out last night!
Chantel: Fine! I did! So what?! But I was with Mystic!
Charde opened her mouth to speak when Rainy & Mystic came.
Charde: *mouths to Chantel* You're lucky.
Rainy: I'm so pumped for tonight!
Mystic: Why?
Rainy: We have a basketball game against Holly Lane tonight & we about to tear them UP!
Charde: *high fives Rainy* Preach it!
Rainy: We're guaranteed a win with the best point guard in the state.
Charde: You know how I do! *pretends to shoot a basket*
Mystic: Chantel, you should bring Ray to the game!
Rainy: Ray? You mean gang-banger Ray?
Chantel: *laughs nervously* Surprise! I'm... um, dating him.
Rainy: *to Charde* And you APPROVE of this shit?
Charde: Hell no. I'm gonna let her suffer for her dumb ass actions.
Ray's black Ferrari suddenly pulled up in front of the girls. Chantel's eyes had a look of seduction in them as Ray rolled down the driver's window.
Ray: Wassup babe?
Chantel: Hey Ray. *bites her lip*
Ray: Just standing there looking like all types of sex.
Chantel: *walks to the window* It's nothing, really.
Ray: You gonna give me a good morning kiss or...
Chantel leans over & kisses Ray fully on the lips. She pulls away, making Ray lick his lips sexually.
Ray: Damn, Chantel. Your lips always taste sweet & juicy. Makes me wonder what else is sweet & juicy. *winks*
Chantel: *giggles* Boy, you so crazy!
Ray: Crazy about you. Lemme give you, your sister, & friends a ride to school.
Chantel: *turns around* Y'all wanna?
Mystic: You know I'm down! I ain't about to sweat my fresh perm out from walking. *gets in the backseat*
Rainy: I'm fine.
Charde: Me too.
Chantel: Y'all sure? He got room for everyone.
Charde: Me & Rainy will walk. Go ahead with your man.
Chantel: Suit yourselves.
Chantel gets in the front passenger seat. Ray nods at Charde then talks to her.
Ray: Don't worry; I'll get them there safe. Especially Chantel. She's precious cargo to me.
He speeds off, the bass from his radio being heard long after his vehicle was out of sight.
Rainy: You're seriously gonna let them date?
Charde: I can't guard her life forever. Her actions are gonna have consequences. Let her deal with it, cause it ain't gonna affect me none.
They walk to the school, continuing their conversation about Ray & Chantel.
