Ray pulls up in front of Vatican High School, where Charde, Chantel, & their friends attended. He lets the girls out, them gives Chantel a kiss before she leaves.
Ray: What time to pick you up, baby?
Chantel: 3:00.
Ray: Aight. I'ma have a surprise for you afterschool.
Chantel: *gives him another kiss* Okay. See you later, Ray.
Ray: Bye, sexy. Talk to you later, Mystic.
Mystic: Bye!
He drives off right when Charde & Rainy walked up the steps to the school. The four girls went inside the school & heads to class. A while later at lunch, word got out that Chantel was dating Ray. People began pestering her with questions.
Girl: Are you really dating Westside gang leader Ray?
Chantel: Yes.
Girl 2: Lucky bitch! I know he be spending stacks on you!
Chantel: Not yet. *laughs*
Girl 3: Aren't you afraid that Baby Dee is gonna hurt you?
Chantel: He tried that shit last night. That's why that gang fight happened at Club Esquire.
Girl 2: YOU were the reason it happened?
Chantel: Ye-
Charde: Yes she was.
Charde came over & sat down at the table with their group of friends.
Charde: And why she's bragging about it, I ain't know why.
Chantel: I'm not bragging. I'm EXPLAINING, something you won't let me do.
Charde: I guess.
Rainy: *coming to the table* Hey, Chantel! Someone dropped this off for you.
She hands Chantel a bouquet of roses with a note attached to it. All the girls at the table awed in shock.
Chantel: *reads the note* "These roses are nothing special compared to the beauty you possess." Awww.....
Mystic: Who's it from?
Chantel: *smiling & blushing* Ray.
Charde: Figures.
Girl: Someone's feeling salty.
Charde: Must be you, cause I don't feel shit.
Chantel: Charde!
Charde: Yep?
Chantel: Stop acting like this!
Charde: *with attitude* Like what?
Chantel: Like THAT! You always run my boyfriends away! You judge them based on what YOU know, not that I know! That's why you can never keep a man.
Charde looks at her in shock. It was so hard to accept the fact that her little sister was right. She gets up from the table & storms out the cafeteria, not looking back.
