I sway my hips from side to side as the music fills my ears. Sweaty bodies with alcohol in their systems dancing in the club - something I'm used to by now.

Coming out every night to dance and drink is a daily routine for me. Something already permanent in my life - a must do. "Mia, stop dancing alone and find a guy to dance with! You look like a lonely forty-year-old mom!" My friend, Yoona, yells out - a drink in each hand as she dances against a random guy.

My name is Mia, if you didn't catch that earlier. No, I'm not Korean. I moved to Korea about ten years ago - parents and business purposes. I'm twenty-two now, so when I was about twelve my family and I moved over here. But, Korea is great.

I laugh, closing my eyes and raising my hands in the air - sweat rolling down my forehead. "Don't worry about me, you have fun!" I yell over the music.

A few minutes later, I stop dancing and head over towards the bar. "Three Bacardi shots please." I take out a twenty dollar bill from my bra and hand it over to the bartender - sending him a wink. His eyes widen but he quickly nods, looking for the shot glasses and knocking over items.

"Mia, if you keep bothering my new workers, my bar will become a mess." I look up at Jae Bum, or JB. His jet black hair was messy, some strands of hair in his face.

He's wearing a black tank top with an open white button up shirt and dark washed jeans.

Jae Bum is one of the hottest guys I know. I would be lying if I said that I didn't like him. Too bad he didn't see me as nothing more than a best friend - we only had a flirting relationship. But messing with him is fun.

A smirk comes up to my lips and I push my hair behind my ear, leaning over on the bar, "I haven't done anything." I say, opening up my eyes and looking up. He raises up a brow and smirks, taking three shot glasses and placing them in front of me.

He fills them up and I quickly take one, lifting my hand up towards him, nodding and swallowing it completely. "Take it slow, you shouldn't get drunk in places like thi-" I wave my hand in an up-and-down motion at him, "I know, I know."

I pick up a shot glass and stretch it towards him, "Drink one with me." He shakes his head, "No, you know I can't drink while I'm working." I pout - giving him puppy dog eyes, "Pleaseee? For me?" I smile, pushing the shot glass closer to him.

"Come on, no one will say anything" I look over at the new bartender, "Will you say something?" He quickly shakes his head. "See?" I look back at JB.

He stares at me for a while as if he were thinking. He finally sighs, "Fine." He says, taking the shot glass from my hand. "Yay!" I take the last shot glass and clink it with his, gulping down the burning liquid - Jae Bum mimicking my actions.

"You owe me food after I get out from my shift." I nod, "Deal!" I get up from the bar stool and pull my dress down, "Bye, newbie!" I wave at the bartender and he stays staring at me.

JB hits the back of his head and pushes him towards the back of the bar. I laugh, making my way back towards the dance floor.

1 hour later -

"It was so weird, like, the guy just came up to me and said 'Hey baby'. He was like forty!" I laugh, shoving ramen into my mouth and drinking a shot of soju. Jae Bum laughs, shaking his head, "Well, that's what happens to pretty girls." He says, looking straight into my eyes with a smile.

I stare back for a while, then cough - awkwardly laughing. We eat ramen in silence for a minute - but I quickly break it, "So, anyone new in your life?" I ask, slurping the bit of ramen in my mouth - trying to avoid making eye contact with him.

He stays quiet for a while, making me look up at him. I see him staring back at me - which makes my cheeks heat up.

I may be the type of girl to flirt with any guy without any problem, especially when I'm drunk, but when I'm with Jae Bum, I can't help but be a bit shy and awkward around him. "Not really," he finally answers, "Why?" I look at him - that same smirk on his face, "Just asking.." I take a sip from my soju glass, looking the other direction.

I hear him laugh, "And you?" I look up at him with an are you serious look and chuckle. "Me? A boyfriend? No way.."

"Why not?" He asks.

"You know no guy takes me seriously. They all just look for someone to sleep with.." And you're the only guy I like.

I take another shot of soju, my eyes already becoming blurry with tears. I quickly wipe away the tear rolling down my cheeks, and take one more shot.

"Hey, take it easy." He says. I put the glass down and get up. "Let's just go." I say, forcing out a smile. I take my bag from the chair beside me and walk out the restaurant - tripping on every step I took. Jae Bum steps in front of me and bends down.

I stop and look down. "What are you doing?" I say. "Get on." He says, indicating me to get on his back. I wrap my arms and legs around his body and he stands. I burry my face in the crook of his neck, my lips pressed against his skin.

I close my eyes and sigh, "Thanks.." I whisper.

"For what?" He replies.

I smile to myself, "For caring." My body quickly shuts down and I fall asleep.
