"Mia! Please take care of table four for me please!"

"Okay!"

I walk towards the table and take the others, quickly making my way to the counter and putting the orders in.

It was 4:35 in the afternoon. The sun was now setting, the sky was all different colors, from pinks to purples and oranges. The wind was chilly, but the pink knitted sweater I had on and the warmth of the café made my whole body warm.

I picked up dirty dishes off tables and started walking towards the kitchen. The bell rings above the door, signaling that someone has come in.

"Welcome! Please take a seat anywhere you'd li-"

"Mia!"

I turn around and see Jae Bum walking in, a smile on his face as he comes towards me.

"I knew you'd be here, I knew you would come!"

I roll my eyes, making my way behind the counter.

"I work here, dumbass."

"Oh. Right." He rubs the back of his neck and looks down.

I stare at him for a while, but look away once he looks at me.

"Listen, Mia. I'm sorry for being an ass. I really am." He leans against the counter.

"You say that everytime we get into an argument." I say, putting money into the cash register.

"But we always make up, don't we?" I look up at him and see him pouting, fluttering his eyelashes at me.

I sigh, nodding as I clean the counter top. "It's fine."

"No, it's not."

"I said it's fine." We look at each other for a while, more like trying to read each other's minds. "Look, let's talk after I'm done working, okay?"

He looks down and nods, "Alright." He looks away, "Well, I better work. I mean go, 'cause I have to work. Uh, yeah." He rubs my head and starts heading towards the door.

Before leaving he turns around, "Hey, uh. You going to Yoona's party tonight, right?"

I nod, "Yea, you?"

He nods and waves, "I'll see you tonight, and maybe talk?"

I nod, a small smile forming on my lips.

"Well, bye! Love you!" He stops himself from leaving once again and turns to me, "As a friend, ofcourse! Friends could say 'I love you' to each other too, it's no big dea-"

"Okay, go!" I say, a chuckle escaping from my lips.

"Okay, bye!" Jae Bum runs out the café and towards the crosswalk. I see him, through the window, cross the street and towards the bus stop.

I shake my head and smile to myself. I really can't stay mad at him at all.

I put on my earrings and look at myself in the mirror, running my hands down my dress and flattening it out. I nod in approval, grabbing my bag off the bed and making my way out the door.
