Chapter 8

"Beautiful huh?" I asked while staring at the trees and the sun setting into the sky seeing a glimpse of the stars. "Wow." Calvin awed. "So do you come here often?" Calvin asked.

"Only with the guys I like. Sometimes we even have make-out sessions and end up getting to carried away." I smirked.

"Az." Calvin said in a harsh tone.

"Kidding, kidding. I never went that far." I say while hitting his arm then resting my head on his shoulder. He grabbed my hand started rubbing circles around my thumb.

"Azailia?" He questioned. "Hmm" I say while looking down at our hands. "I wish i could change that night." When he said that I knew he was talking about that night. "Calvin." I said while taking my head off his shoulder and looking at him in the eyes. "I wish the same thing too. But that's the past and we can only live with it. No matter what the past will still be with us we can always try to change it but we cant. We have to live through it every damn second so you might as well live your life now before you screw it up again." I say in a whisper.

He smiled a little, i smiled with him. He grabbed me and pulled me closer to him. "Azailia, I love you." I closed my eyes letting what he said sink in. "I would say I love you too but I don't believe in love. And you know that even if i did say it those twenty million times. It takes years to gain trust but only seconds to lose." I say while climbing down the tree.

I heard Cavin's feet hit the floor he grabbed my wrist send me to make a blood scorching sound because of my cuts. He let go immediately and grabbed me by the waist instead. "Azailia, let me see." He said while pulling up my sleeve. I closed my eyes and resisted the urge to pull back and hold my wrist to keep anyone from seeing them. I felt the breeze send a cool sensation down my wrist, my eyes were still closed. I felt myself fling into Calvin i clung to his body and just began crying. I was having  a breakdown. "I love you. I really do love you." I say while holding him. "You already know I love you Az, and I always will. Always and Forever."

We stayed there for it felt like a hour but really only fifteen minutes. All you could hear were our staggered breaths and the crickets chirpping in the night. "How about we head home?"  I say to him while still in his arms. "That would be nice." He said guiding my back to the car picking up our belongings on the way.

We drove home in silence, the whole two hours. I dropped Calvin off at his house and gave him back his bag. "So...I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked. "Tomorrow I have to go back to school shopping. " I sighed. "Well call me okay?"

"Okay."

Okay."

I smiled a little. "You know Azailia," He said making my head whip around. "You have that smile, the kind that says you'll never know me and you never will." I blushed. "Bye Calvin."

"Wait Az!"

"What?" I said out of desperartion.

"Are we..."

"Calvin, I honestly can't do this. It's just we always end up fighting and then we make up. I don't want a relationship like that. I want something that I can be different with. With you i'm always safe and protected...kind of. But i just think we need to be with other people." I say trying to hold back the tears.

"Uh...okay. Just know i will always love you."

"Bye Calvin." Before he could say goodbye I pulled ot of thedriveway and headed home. I got home and through my bags on the floor. "Mom?" I yelled making sure the whole house could hear me. I went into the kitchen and got a cup of water out of frustration. Then i saw the note that my mother had left for me.

Dear Azailia,

I had to go on a business trip to Japan sorry i couldn't tell you earlier. I know we were supposed to go school shopping tomorrow but i gave you a credit card (its in the cookie jar) and your brother went to collage surprisiingly. I love you, stay safe.

Your loving mother.

Typical. I went into my room and plopped onto my bed. Seems like I'll be doing nothing but be sad all night.
