Chapter 24: In This Town Bitches Die

Alison's Pov (1 year Later)

"Ali you want to eat," mom asks as she sets a tray down in my bed.

I didn't say a word as I hold my knees close to me.

Mom walks out and shut the door behind her. I look at the bed and grab an apple and look at it. This looks disgusting. I push the tray away from me as it smashes to the ground. I slowly get up and grab my clothes. I look at the floor and see the apple there. I quickly bend down and grab it. I eat it and force it down my throat and throw the excess on the floor. I put on my black shirt and black ripped jeans. I put on my combat boots along with sun glasses. I walk out of the room and I walk down stairs.

"Mom.... I'm gonna go out to a friends house," I say.

She looks at me with a confused smile. "Want me to drive you."

"No," I say.

I walk out and go into the woods. To the lake.

"I want to show you something. You need to forget about this sadness you feel and mostly the drama," Emily explains and she takes my hand and we run instantly in the woods and I have a smile plastered on my face. This is different.

As we are running for minutes we finally get to this little lake. She starts to undress and my eyes widen.

"Emily what are you doing," I yell.

"I found this when I was roaming the woods and don't worry I swam in this before it's clean. We just taking off our clothes, but keeping out bra and under wear on. It's not a crime to let loose," Emily says.

I breathe and I take off my clothes and I have my black underwear matching my black bra. I start to cover myself because the wind is getting hard. Emily is in the water already as she raises her eyebrows at me.

I roll my eyes and run in the lake and when the cold water hits me. It felt like spikes we're going down my back.

"Don't worry you will get use to the water," Emily smiles.

"I wasn't cold," I lie.

"Ok whatever you say."

I shake off her comment. "Why are we in the lake right now," I question.

"To do things that other people wouldn't do. So let's have a hold your breathe contest," Emily blurts.

"I'm not the best at holding my breathe," I Amit

"Well let's do it anyways because I have to show you something involving holding your breathe," Emily looks to the side and I bring my head to where she is looking and I just see water and trees.

"Let's skip the game and show me," I state.

"Ok then. Take my hand," Emily raises her hand.

"Do I have to," I whine.

"I don't have cooties Alison. I don't want you to get lost underwater, ok."

I strip to my underwear and bra and run in and lie on my back in the water. I look at the beautiful sky and I smile a little. It's perfect here. I sneak out here a little and....
