Robin, present.
Robin sat on the edge of the bed trying to collect his mind. 'How could he almost let something so valuable die?' He asked himself over and over again while his hands ran back and forth over her face. He couldn't even get her off his mind while he was gone, and it was obvious she couldn't either.
He kept the copy of the same photo she had in his pocket. He ran his fingers along her perfect face, and he teared up each time he did so. He missed her so much, and now she was gone from his touch. He grew jealous of the other man that could hold her, and protect her. He eventually stood up and slung the door open to leave but was taken back when her saw Snow there, looking like she was about to knock.
"Robin. You really are here." She said shocked. She hugged him tightly, she missed him providing happiness to her step-mother, but she was also furious for him leaving her in the first place. She pulled back and smacked his shoulder, pushing him further into the room.
"Snow, what's going on? Is everything going ok? Or are you here to talk me into seeing Regina. Because I've already tried that. She's got another man. But it wouldn't hurt to tell me about the nights she spent in the hospital because she tried to kill herself." He said so quickly he had to sit down and breathe. He looked up at her with both an anger at himself, or perhaps it was the fact he was still getting used to her having someone else.
"Jefferson," she spat with both discust and shock,"She is not. Tonight she is coming here with Jefferson to repay him for a favor. They are not a thing, but after tonight they might be. So you better be ready for her to get here around 7." She said to him, ferociously then backed off and went back to the sweet snow everyone knows.
'What just happened?' He thought to himself quietly after seeing Snows outburst.
"Give me a happy memory, one that you would fight just to have again." She sat on the bed next to him, trying to provide some kind of comfort.
He thought for a moment, staring down at his feet. He stayed this way for a couple of minutes before finally speaking, "Yeah, I would love to relive the night we watched movies at her house." He smiled and looked up and out the window, gaze settling on her house. "I laid on her couch on my back. She laid on my right arm between me and the back of the couch. About the time she fell asleep, well, so did my right arm. I wanted to move it because it was tingling and it was numb. But I couldnt bring myself to do it. She looked so much like an angel, so peaceful, and finally rested." He wiped small tears from his eyes.
"Get ready, she's coming here for that dinner with Jefferson." Snow smiled and stood up, giving him a small pat on the back. "I expect to see you." She said then left, closing the door abruptly behind her.
Robin jumped up and raced to the shower. He was determined to see her. Even if it was for the last time.
Hi. Sorry this one is so short. To be honest. I completely forgot about it while I studied for mid-terms. But now we have this short filler chapter, and next chapter should possibly (hopefully) be up sometime next week while in on break. :)
