He made his choice. She knew that. She might not have taken it well, but the knew it.
She ached for him. She missed him more than she has missed anyone in her past. She scrolled through the book, looking at the pictures of them together.
Why did he have to choose her? Chose Miriam. She wasn't even there most of little Roland life. How did he know her?
She closed the book quickly as Henry walk into the room. "Well don't you look nice. What's the occasion?" She asked putting the book down in the seat as she stood up. He was dressed nicely. A tie hung around his neck, signaling her needed help tying it.
He smiled and shrugged his shoulders," I'm getting married." He said causing her to open her eyes wide with shock. "Your what?" She said stepping closer and tying hie tie. Just before she sat back down she heard his small voice again,"Im just kidding," He paused and noticed the way she stood, heartbroken and needing repair,"Are you doing ok? You know, with Robin and all?"
She turned around and looked at him. Her shoulders dropped and she took a deep breath. "Whatever was going on between us is over now. He has Mirium," she paused fighting the urge to cry," And I have a broken heart. Just like I always will." She turned back around and looked dead into the fire. It the heat dried her eyes, causing them to burn slightly. She blinked and sat down, moving the book back to her lap.
Henry gave a sad smile. He didn't like this side of her. "Mom. I love you. Even if he doesn't." He said and left the room. She looked where he was standing and soaked in his words. 'Even if he doesn't' Those hurt her the most. He might have been good at giving hope speaches, but he bombed this one.
She finally let the tears she had been holding back go. It had been a while since she let her feelings go. "He's right." She said to herself as she stood up. She needed to let these emotions go.

She walked down the street. She was going to do what any other girl with a broken heart, and get some ice cream. She walked until she came to the small ice cream shop Ingrid used to work in. Now it was accompanied by Jack and Jill. They decided to open it so they could make some sort of profit. They became uneasy when she walked in, and she could tell. She smiled at them slightly, looking at all the flavors. "I'll have a rocky road in an waffle cone." She said moving to the register while Jill scooped the frozen treat.
"1:89" Jack said after he finished ringing her up. He looked up, waiting for her form of payment.
She pondered the price for a moment before looking past him. "Can I get an extra container of the same flavor for home?" She asked pulling out her wallet as he added it into the order.
"10.53." He said turning and pulling the gallon container from the freezer. "Welcome to The Ice Bucket." He greeted Jefferson as he walked in.
"Here you go." Regina handed him a twenty. "Keep the change." She said throwing her purse over her shoulder and liking the ice cream cone as she carried the bucket out of the shop, followed by Jefferson.
"Your Majesty." He said following closely behind, he didn't miss the chance to admire her sculpted body.
"What, Hatter?" She said annoyed, she knew he was checking her out and it didn't really bother her. He could help get Robin off her mind. He could help get Robin off her mind. She turned and faced him.
"I was just wondering if I could help carry that for you?" He offered, giving a smile. He was flirting with her.
"Yes, you can." She smiled back and handed the bucket to him. She took another lick off her cone and turned around, leading him back to her house. "Is there any other thing I can get you?"
He was a little dumbfounded at the last comment, though he knew Robin was gone and he did share somewhat of an intrest in her. "Maybe a dinner. Later tonight?" He said catching up to her and looking as she ate the frozen treat while she walked.
"Perhaps. No promises though." She turned up her walkway and to her porch. "Thank you for that kind walk home, but I'll be taking my ice cream and going in now." She opened her arm, wanting him to place the bucket in it.
"Yes, I see." He placed the bucket in her arm and stared at her lips as he walked away.
She just let out a huffed chuckle as she walked back inside to indulge in the creamy snack. Just as she planned.
Robin
He walked back over the line. He didn't know how, but he did. It was his mission to find Regina now. To say he was sorry for ever leaving her in the first place. He walked past granny's heading towards he house. He stopped and hid himself when he saw her with Jerrerson. 'Jefferson?' He thought to himself as he watched the two walk towards her house. 'Did I hurt you that bad? So bad that your turning to Jefferson for your needs.' He told himself before he saw him leave her property. 'I have to talk to her now.' He said to himself and left his hiding spot, getting a glimpse of her in the living room window as she walked to the kitchen. He walked to the door. 'Here goes nothing.' He thought and knocked on the door three, loud times.
I might go one more update on this. It was kinda a one shot. Whit two chapters...so a two shot?...I don't know...something like that...lol.
