A/N: This chapter will be uneventful. I have an essay due on Monday and a bunch of other homeworks. I will TRY to make the next one long, so this one is just a filler.
Chapter Four
The pounding in my head reminded me of my outrageous drinking. I got up and went to bathroom. I turned the cold water on high and let the water drench me. I felt slightly better after, but my body still hurt. A lot. I went downstairs and took some pain killers. On the counter was a note from Drake telling me that tonight's lessons were canceled. I bite out of the apple I was holding when there was a knocking on the door. When I opened it, I saw an angry Lance.
"What the hell did you think you were doing when you pulled that stunt with the police?" He shouted.
"I just thought I wasn't getting arrested. Did you want me, your best friend arrested for underaged drinking?" Michelle, one of the kids from the house in the woods had taught me to manipulate people to think what I want them to.
Lance shook his head and started to walk away. I chuckled and started to close the door, but someone had stuck their foot through it. I opened it and saw a smiling Scarlett. She stepped inside and sat down on the counter.
"I want to go on a date." She said happily.
"What if I don't want to?" I laughed.
"Then, think of it as a business meeting. I need to tell you something important."
"How important is it?" I asked.
"You can only find out if you take me out for dinner." She smirked and took my hand. She led me up to my room and chose out what I was going to wear.
"You have a lot of black things in here." She stated sadly. "What if it's too late?" She whispered to herself but I was able to hear it.
"Too late for what?"
"Nothing, just too late to make reservations. But we can just go to my dad's resturant." She gave me something to where and an hour later we were at her dad's resturant. I ordered a glass of water and she ordered a steak and a coke.
"So..." I started.
"Oh! Right. Carter, you need to know about your future and I that I'm going to do everything in my power to protect you from it." She said seriously.
"What are you talking about?" I said urgently.
"If you continue to learn of the Death Angels, you will go to hell." She said firmly.
I laughed. "Because I really care about that. Why are you trying to take this part of me?"
"Because I love you and I need you to understand that if you go to hell, you will be tortured for all eternity."
We R Who We R started playing for someone's ringtone.
"We are who we are Scarlett, so stop trying to change who I am to fit your standards." I said softly before getting up.
"Carter, I'm sorry, I just can't seem to let you go." She whispered.
I walked out of the resturant feeling more confused and angry. I kicked a garbage can into the street and caused a car to spin out of control. I took that as a sign. I was never going to change. I accept my fate now.
