Dumb As A Button

*Louis POV *

I was sitting on the dinner table, on my phone, with a big old plate of carrots on my lap when Liam walked in.

Ya see, he has a very strict rule on not sitting on tables. I think I'm screwed...

"LOUIS WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU ABOUT NOT SITTING ON TABLES?!" He shrieked busting my eardrums and breaking his own rule about no yelling, shrieking, or screaming in the house.

I looked at him expectantly waiting for the rest of his boring lecture. He stared right back at me. Oh yay, are her having a staring contest? I can totally win this thing.

He blinked. " And the winner is, Louis!" I announced as Liam looked at me, with his face in a perplex way. I thanked my pretend audience and even made a shout out to Kevin the pigeon. Man, how I love that rascal of a bird, though I would like it if he would stop falling so much.

Liam walked out shaking his head and mumbling about how I act more immature than the girls sometimes. Yup, that's me! MEH!

" Aye Curly! Help me with this math problem?" Demanded Kelsey sashaying into the room. I think she thought I was Harry, since her eyes were glued to her phone. I cleared my throat awkwardly since I am terrible at math and because I wasn't the person she was looking for.

"And you are not Curly." Kelsey said slowly in realization. I looked at her for a bit before smirking at her. She rolled her eyes sassily as she climbed up on the dining table to join me.

Yup we are rule breakers, rebels, badasses whatever you want to call us!

She pointed to the math problem she was currently stuck on. I'm so ashamed. I don't even know how to read the problem, let alone solve it!

"Well?" Said Kelsey impatiently as I laughed to cover up my confusion. It's those times I wish I had paid better attention in school.

" Er, um why don't you ask Curly for this problem?" I suggested fumbling with my fingers. " Curly is my nickname for Harry." She said quite loudly.

" Dumb as a button every single of you, especially Louis!" Kelsey said perkily acting like Harry's character for our music video, Best Song Ever. I chuckled at her cute impression. " Go find Harry, Looovvvee." I said stretching the love part extra long to annoy her.

My statement was followed by a Huff of annoyance, and an eye roll as Kelsey stomped out of the room.

I went back to my previous activities of eating carrots, and playing on my phone. I was in the middle of watching Spongebob when this add popped up.

Oh joy.(Note the sarcasm)

It was introducing this fine looking school called Laurance Academy. It looked like a really impressive school.

I clicked on the ad, and it took me to a website where it told me all about the Academy.

The girls should really go to school, Curly, er um Harry can't reach them forever. I enrolled Kelsey and Violet in the school not even thinking about Niall or any of the boys useless opinions.

It took forever and it almost wrecked my dreams of being forever young!( Insert Huge dramatic sob here)

I then decided to run to all the rooms and announce the big news, even though im not sure all the boys will be happy.

*30 minutes later *

" GOD LOUIS, COULD YOU MAYBE STOP?!" Yelled Zayn with his hands over his ears, and his face scrunched up.

I tired myself out, to the boys and the girls relief. I clapped my hands together awaiting the praise. Any second now, any second...

.....

Guess not....

" I guess my work here is done." I stated proudly, standing up from my spot on the couch. The boys all gave me playful glares, well, except for Niall her sent me a meanest look ever. I'm officially scared.

I decided to become a temporary ballet dancer as I leaped across the floor gracefully and landed on my face. Maybe I should've not done that. Maybe then I won't have a broken nose and a bruised cheek.

I crossedy arms and stuck out my bottom lip in a pouty position as I began to sulk.

The boys laughed in amusement at my stupidity. Trust me, if you have any sense in you, at all, you wouldn't try to be a ballerina. But if you do it anyways, I will always love you.
