Ellie blew a strand of hair from her face, her eyes blurring the classroom around her.
Ten more minutes she thought, looking at the clock. She really enjoyed Uni...most days. Lectures almost bored her; practically put her to sleep. She she spent the class folding little origami shapes and hesaflexagons while her tape recorder caught the lecture that she'd listen to on her way to school the next morning.
She kept looking at the clock, trying to will time to go faster.
She was anxious to get out of class for two reasons today.
Her boyfriend, Finn, was flying all the way from England to visit her in the land of Sun, otherwise know as California.
He was landing at 2:30 and it was 1:45. She had promised to pick him up and couldn't wait to get out of class, if not for Finn then to save her from this horridly boring lecture.
The bell finally rang and Ellie was out like a shot, gathering her things in her bag as quickly as she could. She had her car keys in hand and was halfway out to the parking lot when she heard laughter.
"You think she's gonna be surprised?" A familiar voice asked.
Ellie smiled; Jack. And if Jack was here that meant....
Ellie turned around to see her boyfriend walking toward her, his face breaking out into a smile when he saw her.
"Finny!" Ellie yelled, dropping her stuff and running at him.She jumped onto him, wrapping her legs around his waist.
Finn laughed, squeezing his girl. It was so good to have her back in his arms.
"Hey princess" He said, kissing her neck lightly.
El looked at him, taking his face in her hands "You'e here" She said, her eyes misting up.
He smiled at her; Damnit had he missed this.
"Alright alright, c'mon you two love birds. I didn't take a 9 hour flight just to watch you two make out." Jack said, holding out Ellie's bag and keys for her.
She laughed, hopping off her boyfriend but not before kissing him lightly.
"I missed you boys" She said, hugging her twins.
"I missed you too baby" Finn whispered in her ear, winking at her.
"I'd do that too El, but I think 'Finny' would punch me" Jack said, winking at his practically-adopted sister.
Ellie laughed as the twins chased each other around the parking lot, getting into a mini-fight over her.
No contest of course; Finny would always have her heart
