He remembers the first time they slept together.

At least, the morning after. Waking up naked and a little sticky was already cause for concern, but meeting those all-too familiar red eyes, filled with amusement, had mortification hitting him with the speed and force of a steam roller. He could recall only bits and pieces of the previous night, none of them good:

"Just do it already, stronzo!"

Pain. Gripping the bed sheets and clenching his jaw, Romano rode it out until the stinging was replaced with mild discomfort and a little pleasure.

Switch places. Heat. So tight. He can't-

"Roma-"

"-Lovino. Call me Lovino."

Fatigue. Panting like a dog; how embarrassing.

He didn't want to remember any more. Gathering the sheet around his naked form, Romano began the search for his clothes. The Prussian man looked on, stretched out on the bed with his not-five-meters proudly on display. Surprisingly, he wasn't speaking.

Dressed and ready for the Walk of Shame, Romano dropped the bedsheet on the floor and left without looking back.

'Never again,' he thought to himself.

'I knew I hated beer.'

The routine changed. The foursome frequented the bar, left in pairs, and Romano awoke the next morning to that same pair of eyes silently laughing at him. Hunt for clothes, dress quickly, leave. Gilbert never spoke-until one day, weeks later.

"You could stay."

Those three words made his heart beat faster. Why? It's not like...he liked him or anything. Besides, if he stayed, this... whatever this is wouldn't stay under wraps. Romano was certain Feli didn't know; after all, Feli doesn't know much of anything. But to stay longer would be to make it more obvious than the relationship between North and Potato Bastard Number One-in other words, so obvious his brother would probably figure it out on his own. Really, it wasn't much of a decision.

Turning to give Prussia an incredulous look, Romano scoffed. "As if I'd stay with you."

He left without another word. Gilbert smirked. The Italian was a tight-ass in all senses of the term.
