Chapter 18

~Jade's POV~

                 ~Shawn was online 1 day ago~

          Shawn has not been talking to me in days. It's like...we are done. Does he still love me? Does he even care? Thoughts ran through me head,I want to scream as loud as I can into my giant fluffy pillow. Taking a deep breath I close my laptop and walk across my room to my closet. Throwing on a deep blue bikini I grab 2 towels and grab my purse walking out the door and to the beach.

The beach is barley 3 miles away so I can just walk there and back without having to drive. Setting my towel down on the burning hot sand I apply tanning oil and lay down on the towel.

~1 hour later~

Sand hits my legs making me uncomfortable. My eyes fly open and I look around, adjusting to where I am. I see a boy who looks about 17 and he has brown hair, and blue eyes. He is so tan and he is starring at me. Waving trying to snap him out of his trance I wipe off my legs.

"Oh sorry!"

Looking up I glare at him, and he quickly avoids eye contact. That's when I burst out laughing.

"You really t-thoughttt I was s-s-eriousss!!"

A blush creeps up his cheeks and he is looking down at his feet. Smiling I reach out to shake is hand.

"Hi I'm Jade."

"Jacob. Jacob Whitesides"

        The sun was setting, and the waves were crashing up against the sand. Jacob looked over at me and smirked.

"What?"

"Nothing, it's just you're so pretty."

I feel a blush creep up my face and I look away. I start getting up.

"I have to go..."

Worry flashes into his eyes for a quick second before he quickly hops up and grabs my hand, which fits perfectly into mine. He looks me straight in the eyes, his icy blue ones into my boring hazel eyes.

"Come with me, for just five minutes,please."

Nodding, he pulls me into the crystal clear water until we are shoulder deep before he stares at me and then leans in, his soft lips brushing against my own.

~Shawn's POV~

     Our lips meet, her arms wrap around my neck, her hands in my hair and mine around her waist. I pull away running my fingers through my hair, my eyes roaming everywhere but her.

"I have a girlfriend, we can't."

                   A hurt look runs across her face and she looks down before grinning and looking up at me. Pulling my head into my hands I sigh. She comes near me and starts kissing my cheek. I pull away shaking my head again.

"No."

"Yes, she never has to know!"

        She turns my head so I'm facing her and kisses me again.

"Snap, snap."

         The flash of a camera fills my eyes and I break away and put my head in my hands walking out of the room. Jade can't figure out nononononoo.

                    ~Jades POV~

We stay like that for a while before I pull back, looking out into the ocean. I feel his eyes glued on me, before he peels them off looking at his water proof watch "8:30 pm" I slowly wade out of the water picking up my beach bag which consists of sunscreen, my sunglasses, a towel, a book, goggles, my phone and my car keys. He finally catches up to me by the time I get to my car and he grabs my arm. Trying to wiggle out I feel tears start up. Shawn can't find out, no he won't.

"I can't I have to go."

"Why what happened? Did I do something?"

"I have a boyfriend and he is going to be home soon."

"I'm so sorry I-i didn't know if I did I'm just so sorry I-I..." He says, guilt filling his voice.

"No it's fine I just have to go.."

"Can I at least have your number?"
