T O R I
I run to nearest window, and peak in. I see about 4 guys. I studied their faces for a minute. Their eyes turned black for a split second and return to normal.
Am I hallucinating? What the fuck is happening?
I grab my phone to text Michael.

On my way.

I look up from my phone, back to the window, to see blood. A lot of blood. I hear the door open, and hide in the bushes until I hear the car drive away. I run through the open door, and see something I never wanted to see. Something I feared would happen. My mom on the floor, covered in blood.

"Mommy?" I mumbled.

She slowly turned around. And that's when I saw the wound. She had been stabbed in the side. I scream at the sight. Michael runs through the door, to see me sitting on the floor with my mom in my arms, dying. He looks shocked, hurt, and panicked.

"I'm calling an ambulance." Michael says. He grabs his phone, and dials the number.

"Tori. Y-your wings. They're very special. You're p-powerful, Tori. I love you so so much. Don't f-forget that. Find the box hidden under my bed. The key is n-near you're heart." Mom says, stuttering every now and then. Her life starts fading away.

"Mom?" I mumble. "Don't die, you can't die. There's so many things we have to do. Mom please." At this point, I'm sobbing.

Her eyes slowly close. My vision is blurry, I'm crying too much.
I haven't cried this much since dad had died.

"Michael." I whisper.

He continues talking on the phone.

"Michael." I say a bit louder.

He is too busy talking to notice.

"Michael!" I raise my voice.

He finally looks over.

"It's t-too late. She's g-gone." I manage to choke out.

I can see tears forming in his eyes. He runs over to me, and engulfs me into a hug.

"It's okay, Tor. We'll get through this."

I hear the sirens in the distance. I completely zone out. And start thinking about the memories we had together. The memories we had with dad.

"Again! Again"
My father pushes the swing again. He walks over to my mother and kisses her on the cheek.
"Ugh" I say. Pretending to gag.
They both laugh.

"Tori?" I hear someone calling me.
"Wha-?" The voice cuts me off.
"I need you to let go of your mother." The voice says.
I look down to see my arms around my mother's waist and her head laying on my chest. I start to let go.
"Michael." I say, remembering something.

"Hmm?" He responds

"My mom said something to me. Something important."

"What is it?" He asks.
