The box. (Chapter 3)

I walk to my mom's room. With Michael following. Walking over to her bed, I sit on the floor. And pull out a box from under it.
"This is it." I mumble.

The key is near your heart. What the hell is that supposed to mean?

"She said, the key is near your heart. What do you think it means?" I ask.

We sit there for a minute, thinking. I fiddle around with my necklace. Michael looks where my fingers are. His eyes widen.

"Michael, what is is?"

"The key is near your heart. It's in plain sight. It's on your necklace Tori!" He looks accomplished.

I sit in his lap, and hug him.
"Michael, you're a genius."

He moves my hair, and removes the necklace. I grab the box and put it in my lap. He takes the key and puts it in, the box opens. We find a bunch of pictures, notes, and a tiny bottle, with fluorescent blue liquid.

"What is this stuff?" Michael asks.

I shrug. While looking through the stuff, I find a note.

Dear Tori,

If you're reading this, I'm dead. In this box, you will find pictures. Those pictures are mainly of us when you're father was alive.

I told you, your father died in a car accident right? That's not the truth. I'm sorry, I lied to you. You're father, was special. He was half angel, and half demon. Which makes you half angel and half demon too. Yes angels and demons exist. Anyways, you're father was considered an abomination. He had a price above his head all his life. We fell in love, and had you. Ever since you were born, both the angels and demons were looking for us. They eventually found us. They killed your father.

I'm so sorry I kept this from you Tori. I love you so so much, and you know that.

You will also find, a tiny bottle with fluorescent blue liquid. Drink it. It will give you strength and power. This is your grace. It is basically you're angel powers. Once you drink this, you're guardian angel will be sent to protect you.

The other bottle is hidden, it has your demon powers in it. If you find it, have your guardian angel protect it until, you have mastered your angel powers. When you are ready and feel ready, drink it. We hid it from you because, we didn't want that side of you to be seen.Your demon guardian will then show up.

Tori, you are special. You're very powerful. I love you so so much, and I'm so sorry I kept all of this from you.
