The Beginning

Amu was a fragile girl, not so much as physical as she was mentally. She was mentally drained of life. Her new fiancè wasn't so kind to her as he lead her to believe. Tadase may seem like the charming Prince on the outside but when they were all alone he would yell at her till she was bawling. He even raised his hand to her cheek a couple of times, regretting it a day later. Amu learned to keep her tongue held, her outgoing and spicy attitude now hiding deep within her. She was submissive to tadase unless she wanted to be beaten. She was currently sitting in a huge dining room in the huge mansion that tadase owned. She was awaiting his return. If she didn't greet him he would be furious! Suddenly the door swung open to reveal an angry looking Tadase. He stormed over to Amu. "Wretched brat!!" He yelled as he lunged at her. Amu screamed as he latched his hands in her hair. Amu's hands flew to her head, trying to ease the pain he was causing her. "Gah!!" She yelped. Tears sprang from her eyes. "Tadase, sweetie, please stop!" She pleaded. Tadase tossed her aside, throwing her to the ground. "Why did I ever bother to hire such a dumb bitch!" He stormed off. Soon a maid came scurrying in. "Oh miss! I am so sorry! I dropped his luggage and he took it out on you!!" The maid cried. Amu stood up, wiping the tears away with a smile. "Its alright, as long as he didn't hurt you." The maid cried harder. "You truly are to kind hearted miss Hinamori, you shouldn't be engaged to this monster..." the maid shook her head. Amu touched the maids shoulder. "I'll do what it takes to make sure my sister is safe!" Tadase suddenly was heard walking back in and the maid scurried away. He entered the room, his face gardens but regretful. He came to Amu's side. "Honey I'm sorry I took my anger out on you, baby I'm so sorry!" He grabbed her and pulled her in to a slobbery, intimate kiss. She was use to the nasty, sloppy kisses so she didn't quite mind. Once he was done sucking her face off, he pulled away with a smile. "I can't wait till we're married!!" He then stalked away. Amu figured he'd be going straight to his office so she decided to take a stroll, she'd never have freedom once they were married...

Ikuto's pov
I hissed as Utau toppled me. Though I was alpha of our clan she was still my sister who was desperately in love with me. "Ikuto!!! I missed you!! Why did you have to leave for 10 years!!?" She wailed. I pushed her off me and gave an authoritative hiss. She backed off and cowered. "Ikuto baby?" She asked weakly. I scoffed. "What's happened since I have been away?" I asked. She got a little more relaxed. "The Hotori's have a new women in the house, she came about 2 months ago. I believe she's engaged to the wretched brat Tadase..." She explained. Ugh another human women? How many has that family had? They're all brats! Especially that Prince Tadase. Yeah right, they may all think he's as charming as a prince but once your alone boom! Out come his vicious claws. Not that I'm scared of him, he just treats women bad so that why I hate him. Not to mention out families have been feuding for centuries now... maybe I'll have a bit of fun with his new women, just to see what she looks like, her personality... I am looking for a mate... I smirk. "I'm off to map the woods, stay here a guard the mansion!" I command. Utau nods quickly and I dash off, speeding inhumanly down the path of the well traveled forest. You may be wondering what exactly am I. Well I'm a vampire, leader of the Tsukiyomi clan. My father was the one to start a feud with the Hotori's. My father has now left us, no he's didn't pass away more like he vanished. That's why I was gone for 10 years, looking for him... suddenly I could smell it, the heavenly scent from 11 years ago...

Ikuto's pov *flash back*
I sat in my mansion, bored as hell. "Im leaving for a while." I stated to Utau as I stood up. I could sense her presence before she made herself known, for us vampires it wasn't hard with our heightened senses. I walked out and began heading toward the woods. A scent filled my nose and made me start to go crazy. I started rushing toward the scent when suddenly I heard a snap and I came to a halt. The scent filled my nose, blood, sweet smelling blood. It smelled so heavenly I almost started drooling. Who has this delicious smell, I wanted to devour it! I started frantically searching for the smell and I found it. A girl was huddled up on the ground crying. I took a cautious step toward her, snapping a twig so that I could be heard. Her eyes snapped up and her puffy golden eyes locked with mine. I could hear her heart rate speeding up in alarm. I glanced at the girls body and noticed her foot was swollen... She must of hurt it. My eyes went back to her eyes and she trembled. "P-please...help me..." Shock clearly registered on my face. She's not just hurt but she's been bitten!!! I sniffed the air again and almost lost myself, her scent is so delicious!!! This human... She...She will be my mate.
