Why is he Sounding Like Dr. Fucking Phil

Zayden's POV

Finally that stupid dinner is over, worst two hours of my life. Now all I have to do is find my mate, and tell her the bad news. The thing is, is I can't seem to find her. And it's pissing me off. I just saw her, when her parents released us from dinner. I know she knows I'm her mate, wouldn't she wanna talk to me? This is ridiculous. If she's with a guy I swear I'll hurt him.

I sniff the air and follow her scent. It leads to their back patio. And I found her.. and Grey. That bastard.

"Delani, what the hell are you doing out here with him? We need to talk, so lose the prick and come here." I don't have time for games, so the sooner she comes over, the sooner I can get this over with.

"Excuse me, I'm pretty sure you shouldn't talk to her like that, her being the Alpha's daughter and all. He wouldn't appreciate that." Why is this douche bag so freaking annoying. I've got better things to do than to argue with a one direction wannabe.

"Just shut up will ya? Delani, come on. Now." Why is she just looking at like I'm stupid? She's got to know right?

"Oh um okay, be there in a sec. Grey I'll talk to you in a little bit okay?" No she won't, not if I have anything to do with it. When she gets close enough to me, I drag her away from that loser. The sparks are something I could get used... whoa no, shut the fuck up Zayden.

"Take me to your room, we've got things to talk about and I don't want interruptions." I don't even have to ask her twice, in no time we are in her room. And Gosh does this smell get me hard. I've got to start thinking of something else or this could go wrong, really fast.

"What did you need Zayden? I'm tired so could you make it quick?" Not even married and she's already using that excuse. Good thing that's the last time she'll ever get to use it on me.

"Uh yeah, I don't plan on having a fucking sleep over with you. But you know that we're mates right?" The faster I get this over with the better.

"Well yeah dimwit, I'm not stupid. I knew the minute you walked into the door." Well okay then smartass.

"I'm not gonna reject you.." "Wait you wanna be together?" Ha, that's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

"Of course I don't wanna be with you, I'm just not gonna reject you, because I don't want you to be with any other guys. And the only way I can make sure that doesn't happen is to not reject you. It's against your beliefs to cheat on your mate, unless they've rejected you." By the way she's staring at me, I should be dead by now.

"Oh so you can go fuck every girl you want but you expect me not to do the same?" She's got a point with that one, well at least she thinks she does.

"I never said I would be with other people, I just don't think it's right for a girl to be with anyone else besides her mate. Please just do me a favor? Do this for me, your mate?" I know that if I play it off all nice and shit, she'll do anything I ask her to do.

"Oh um okay, whatever you say Zayden." When she says this, she's just a little bit breathless because I stepped close to her, letting her get a good whiff of my scent and feel my body heat. It's got to be driving her crazy right about now, because it's driving me crazy. I should step back, but my wolf is fighting me. He wants to be close to his mate, and you can feel her wolf calling mine. In some weird way, it makes me feel content that he's happy. I really need to put some distance between us, this isn't what's supposed to be happening.

After stepping back and clearing my throat I say "Okay, thanks Delani. I'm gonna get going now. See you around I guess." Actually, I hope I don't see her around. I don't wanna be the cause of that kind of pain to her, or our wolves.
