Catherine's POV

"Get up, come on Cathy we have to have an early start so we can get lots of stuff done." I guess I better get up, I did promise Jess I would help with her wedding. "Give me 15 minutes to get ready,"

"Okay, by the way breakfast is ready, so I'll just wait for you down stairs," Jess called through the door.

I got up from my bed and went to get my clothes and take a shower. When I was done I fixed my hair into a side french braid and went down to eat breakfast with Jess.

"Hey Jess, good morning," she smiles at me and we both sat down.

"So where are we going today?" I ask her and she thinks for a minute then says, "Well after we get your stuff we are going to meet the wedding planner at 11 o'clock at our favorite cafe and we are going to discuss the theme and where to have the reception and the actual wedding and we could probably get started on dress shopping"  I look at her and say, " Is that even possible in one day?" She laughs and says, "Yes but you better get a move on or we might be late for our appointment with the wedding planner, you know it takes an hour to get to your house and back to our favorite cafe, so lets go."

She drags me to her car, good thing I put my coffee in a thermos. The entire ride to my house was filled with laughter, then I decide to ask her, "By the way where is your Mr. fiance?" I smile at her and she says, "Well he said he can't get off work today so he'll be joining us tomorrow." I pretend to be mad at her and say, " He would rather work? he should be the one helping you for this wedding, I swear when he gets here tomorrow I am going to chain him to your hip so that he can't get away." She laughs at me, "Are you serious?" I briefly look at her and say," I am dead serious," but it's not convicing since I bursted out laughing along with her.

Then Jess turns serious, "I'm really glad you don't hate me for loving and getting married to him, your the best, best friend I've ever had," she smiles at me, and I smile at her.

When we got to my house we took longer than expected because Jess found our old photo albums and we just had to look through them.

When we finally got back on the road it was already 10:40, it takes 30-40 minutes to get to the cafe from my house, so when we got there we were out of breath while apologizing to the wedding planner, she just smiled at us and said, " Please have a seat, it's okay I just got here myself, I was a bit late because of traffic I'm assuming you are too?" We smiled at her and sat down, we each ordered a latte and proceded with planning the wedding. "Well my name is Jullian Madison, but you can call me Jill, "

"My name is Jessy Morgan, you can call me Jess and this is my best friend and maid of honor Catherine Noel, you can call her Cathy. It's a pleasure to meet you"

"The pleasure is all mine, so I'm assuming you're the bride to be?" Jill asks Jess, and she nods.

"Okay let's get started, first of all do you want the traditional church wedding or do you want it elsewhere?" Jess thought about it and said, " I'll go with the traditional church wedding it's what we've decided on any way." Jill asks Jess a few more questions mostly about when she wants the wedding, how many people she was going to invite, what chapel she wants it held. I just kept quiet, since it's not my wedding and I am certainly no expert on weddings.

"Hey Cathy what motif should we have for the wedding? you know what color the dresses would be, and what flowers to use for the decorations and the bouquet,"

"How about we combine two colors, carnation pink and white?" I hope it would be okay for her since carnation pink is her favorite color, and pure white is usally used for traditional weddings, so I thought it would look nice together. " I love it," she smiles at me and we continue discussing things that need to be preprared for the wedding like the flowers, the place for the reception, the date for the wedding, and alot more.

We continued like that for nearly half a day, then Jill finally concluded the appointment when she remembered she had paperworks that needed to be done. "Well I guess that's it for now, I'll be meeting you again next week to confirm the number of people attending your wedding." Jess smiled at her and said, "Thank you so much, We'll see you next week.

"Okay bye," and with that she left.

It was already past three in the afternoon, so Jess and I decided to eat here.

Suddenly someone hugged Jess from behind, I was shocked, but then I looked up and saw that it was Will, "Will Oh wow I thought you were stuck at the office?" he kissed her cheek and sat down next to Jess. "Well the meeting was done early, and everything was running so smoothly at the hospital that they let me leave early, oh and I got a leave, it's a leave for 3 months, I'll only be going to the hospital if there is a real emergency. Other than that I'm all yours to boss around for this wedding."

Jess giggled, and I could see that they were realy in love with each other and they make each other happy. "Well thats great news, now I don't have to be alone in choosing themes, cake decorations ,etc." I look at her and playfuly hit her arm, "Hey! I'm right here, well if you no longer need me, I would be more than happy to go back to my work." She suddenly turned to me with puppy dog eyes and she clutched me arm to the point that it actually hurt, "Oh! no please don't leave me I was joking, if you leave who will tell me when I really don't look good in a wedding gown this guy would never tell me that because he really hates shopping and is always in a rush, so please don't go, pretty please?" she smiles at me and I laugh at her and say, " Okay I'll stay, I was only kidding, you know I can't leave you alone for a second, cause if I do this wedding will be a disaster," I laugh as she hits me lightly on the arm.

"Oh, by the way Will you know my best friend Cathy right?" he looks at me as if trying to remember. "Oh yeah you and Jess have been best friends ever since the first year in high school right?" I nod and say, "Yup thats me the person who has been keeping this little lady out of trouble for years."

"Hey! I can take care of my self," Jess says to me, " Right. . . . sure you can" I rolled my eyes at her.

Will laughs at his fiancee and says to me, "Well its nice to see you again, I have to say you look different," I give him a puzzeled look, "Good different or bad different?"

"Good different definitley good." I smile at him and he smiles back. Suddenly his smile still sends an unexpected rush of warmth through me. No, I tell myself, I don't love him anymore I've moved on no matter what he says or does it will remain that way. I will not ruin my best friend's wedding. I just can't.
