The wedding was only two weeks away and I was really tired both physically and mentaly(and maybe even emotionaly),so when Jess told me that Will would not be joining us today, I felt relieved, because that means that I won't have to worry about the feelings that are resurfacing in my heart. We left the apartment at 10 in the morning and proceeded to a number of shops, varying from shoes, to cakes.

The last store that we went to was the bridal gown shop, I wasn't suprised that she opted to go to that shop last because knowing my best friend we would be there for a minimum of 3 hours so it would be better if that was the last thing on our list because I really was exhausted from all the shops that we went to. When we entered the shop, I saw that her mom was already there along with some of our other friends, as I looked around,  I was overwhelmed by the beauty of all of the gown on display. We went through so much gowns, and yet Jess just can't find the one she was looking for, we already decided on the bridesmaids' dresses, the maid of honor's dress and the flower girls' dresses so all we needed now the bride's dress, because she was so frustrated she decided to ask the lady assisting us if she could browse around the shop, and the lady graciously agreed. So now here we are nearly unnoticable beneath all of these fabric. " Hey Cathy what do you think of this one?" She showed me a stunning princess style wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. The dress itself was simple, but what made the dress elegently beautiful was the beading, it started on the sides of the chest area and then met at the middle then it forms a line that goes down to the abdomen, it also had a simple lace belt that was tied at the back so it forms a cute little ribbon. " Oh, Jess" I sighed " That looks stunning, you would look beautiful in that." " Really? You don't think it's a little too over the top?" She asked. I smiled at her and said," Not at all it would be perfect on you, why don't you go try it on" I urged her and she went to the fitting room and I went back to the group. When she came out of the dressign room, everyone in the room sighed, she truly look beautiful. She was waiting for the reaction of everyone, but we were all stunned into silence. No one said a word until we heard her mom sniffling. " I'm sorry" she said, " it's because you just look so beautiful, I think thats the one you have been looking for turn around and see for yourself." We all urged her to turn around to face the mirror and when she did, she burst into tears of joy, " this is it, this is the dress that I see myself walking down the alter in." We all applauded and hugged her congratulating her again on her engagement and her up coming wedding. We placed the order for all of the dresses that we need for the wedding, then we bid the others good- bye and we all went our separate ways.

Me and Jess went back to the apartment of course. When we got there Will was in the living room watching TV. " Hey Will how was your day?" Jess asked after she kissed him on the cheek and settled down next to him on the sofa. " It was fine a bit boring actually since I really didn't have anything to do exept for the errand you sent me on." I looked at him and asked, " What errand ?" " Well she had me arrange all the clothes that were going to be used by the groomsmen, the best man and ring bearer. I had to do that all on my own and that was exhausting." He practicaly shouted the last part then he pretended to pass out on the couch just to make his point. I poked him on his side which caused him to sit up suddenly, I giggled at him and said, " That is nothing compared to what I experienced do you have any idea how many stores we had to go to? and that one over there," I playfully pointed at Jess," took forever in choosing her wedding dress, so don't you dare tell me that you had an exhausting day because you don't know half of what I have been through, right Jess?" I laughed and so did he, he had his hands up as if saying "I surender" As I was laughing I looked over at Jess and found that she was looking at us with a weird face, so naturaly my laughter died down, and my face turned serious. " Hey," I called out to her," are you okay?" When she heard my voice she looked like she had just snapped out of a trance, she quickly answered my question with a smile, " Yeah I'm fine, I was just thinking about the other things that we neded to get done before the wedding." She smiled again, but that smile won't fool me, I know my best friend all to well, and I know when she fakes a smile. But I ignore it for now, and I'll confront and comfort her when it's only the two of us because it might be something that she dosn't want Will to know. So that marks the end of our day, I'm really worried about Jess, she is not the type of person to just stare out into space like that, if she is like that then there has to be something wrong. Knowing Jess she'll tell me soon enough so I don't realy have to worry about it. Well for now anyway.
