chapter 3 :

Thorn / May

As the twin moons sets and the Blue sun rises Thorn woke up stretching and said
Ah now that is what I call a good night of sleep, well it's time to wake up the future queen. Just as Thorn reached the room he had a thought maybe May had decided to wake up on her own , no she doesn't even like to wake up in the mornings. He said he then brush a side that thought faster than a Griffin catching its pray.

After walking about three feet to the hidden door that separates the room in two he opened it and proceeded to walk in the room. Once he had reached the young princess bedside he then ever so gently woke her up and said.

REIS AND SHINE LITTLE LADY.

Except he yelled at her.
Startling the princess she practically jump off her bed when Thorn yelled waking her up screaming
Aaaaaaaaaaah
But as soon as she saw thorn she gave him an annoyed glare and proceeded to fall back on to her bed and try to get some sleep. Thorn saw this and proceeded to get her to wake up.
I know you heard me princess now get up. He demanded with venom in his words.
Mmmmm.......no I'm still sleepy she said in return.
How are you still sleepy if you went to bed early last night unless..................you little snake you stayed up late last night didn't you. He said upset about the fact that she was still awake last night,
Ummm Noooo.................... OK fine I stayed up. She admitted in defeat looking down at her hands on her blanket.
I knew it, he said with but my only question is why you knew what was happening today so, why you're majesty
Because I wanted to see my brother coming home, back from his flight around are kingdom.
I see well I can't argue with you on that seeing that I have no family except for the annoying pain in my side that you are, thank you very much, but next time please just go to bed early, Ok I don't like it when you get cranky from the lack of sleep and be sides your going to have fun time visiting my homeland.
Wait you mean that very important trip of my life that is today and you are just barely waking me up, way to go Thorn, You over grown lizard. She said to the 5ft 3in dragon standing in her room by her bed in his human form.
Yes blame the dragon that cares for you, plays with you, makes your delicious food, and let's not forget I always make your favorite desert. Oh and the fact that I am your personality guard since you hatched. He said Sounding way to cocky with a smile on his face looking straight at the young princess.
Oh my goodness you are not aloud to bring that up this early in the morning with me Thorn you should know better, By the way you are coming with me to go visit your home right. May asked hoping that he would be able to go with her not looking away from the dragon that was still starting at her.
Err.....Ummm I'm afraid you're highness that I won't be going with you on your trip. He replied taking his gases off of the princess and looking for something else to stare directly at to avoid her hurt gases staring back at him. Then it hit the young princess her most trusted protector and loyal friend wouldn't be able to go with her, she could feel the tears starting to form in the corner of her eye's.
What? why? You have to go with me. She begged. I command that you go. She yells at him trying to fight back tears that started to fall without her constant. Thorn returned his gases back to the young princess only to see her crying silently in her bed still looking at him.
May, he began, its not that simple. Your father said that I won't be needed on the trip, since he is bringing his Dragon so please don't let your beautiful face become Stained from crying. He said trying to cheer up the little girl that he was born to protect and to provide a much needed friend and a great listener if needed and May needed him since all of her siblings are always out of the castle or in there own private sector of the Kingdom and her parents who are constantly busy with managing the Kingdom and talking with the 4 other Kingdom's.
Daddy is Bering Parthros on the trip. May said trying to hold her tears back just like Thorn had asked her to do.
Yes and as you can see Parthros would be a much better protector then me right now. He said putting is claw like hand on her head and messed with her hair like he's always do when he's trying to cheer her up. But don't worry I'll be here waiting for your return from your trip Ok.
But what if something happens to me on my way to your home. Then what, will you try to get my back. Shocked from what she said all he could do was reply with,
May nothing like that is going to happen and you want to now why. He said with smile on his face.
Why? Was all she could really say.

Because we're connected ever since you were born we have share a mental and physical connection with each other so if anything were to happen to you I would be the first one to go out and hunt down the people responsible for hurting you. He said with a determined look on his face.

You would do all that for me. She said wiping away the tears well smiling at the determination in Thorns face. Thorn noticed this and chuckles a little and told May that she needed to hurry.

es I would. Now hurry go and wash your face so you don't look like you were crying and get ready you leave in three hours.
OK. Was the last thing she said before she got out of her bed.

Three hours later

Alright I'm ready Thorn. May said so Thorn wouldn't be so worked up about it not that he wasn't already worked up.
That is great news now let's get a move on I don't want you to be late. He said as he picked her up and cared her so they won't be late to were there carriage was waiting so it could take the some of the Royal Family on its trip to the great kingdom of iron claw.
As they neared the carriage Thorn looked at May only to see she had fallen asleep in his arms and saw the king looking up at them with a stern look on his that turned into a smile. Thorn saw this and quicken his pace so he can get to the King and hand him his last born child.
Hail to you king and father of May my lovely and faithful master and praise to you oh mighty Parthros, Thorn said in the traditional greetings he was taught to say by May's father.
Hail to you as well Thorn. Responded the king and his guardian taking the sleeping princess and placing her in the carriage carefully so she doesn't stir from her nap.
All right now that we're ready we can go. Said the king with a smile on his face looking in the detection of the Kingdom of iron claw. As Thorn saw the carriage leave the castles protected walls, not to far from the kingdom of Earth paw there was another kingdom that despises Earth paw and it's in habitants.
