raise of the dragon queen

chapter 5

(Pick of Blaze)

It had been more than a week since they have left the Kingdom of Fire Paw and passed the border between the lands in to they're neighboring Kingdom of Ice which is ruled by Prince William, Mays oldest brother, and his dragon Rogan. The kingdom of Ice is the only that is known to be built high in the tallest mountains in the land where it constantly snows no matter the season, it is like a the police of the land. It is in this kingdom that the guards are trained in but it is also a prison for treaters and the rising rebel groups that turn agents the crown and their allies.

As the carriage made it's way through the reign into a valley in between the mountains you could hear Rogans roar echo off of them. It is said that Rogan can cause avalanches and blizzards, he is also rumored to be one of few Dragon's that can breath ice. It is also rumored that the only way into the prison is by Dragon's but Dragon's guard's are very rare do to the fact that there strength is thirty times that of a human.

Once the carriage was out of the Ice kingdoms land and closer to there destination the kings Dragon shifted from his human form into his regal looking Dragon from which is big enough to encircle the Fire kingdom's castle but not as big enough so he can still fit in it. Once he was done shifting he spread out his massive wings and using his forearms to pick up the horses and the carriage he began to flap his wings lifting him off the ground and in to the air, using his wings to lift him self higher and higher in the air then proceeded to fly his king along with his family the rest of the way.

Unbeknownst to them one for the four groups of rebels was watching them
Take off.

At one of the four rebels camp hidden in the forest the leader of this group order four of is men, three adults and one kid, to follow the Dragon an kill the king of dragons along with the king of fire paw and his family.

Once the small group left there hidden camp they walk to a hidden stable where they kept there horses and rode off on three horses following the Dragon straight into the Iron kingdom where the king of all Dragons lives governing all who live in the land, and home to the druid shrine of Thrax the keeper of light.

Once in side the kingdom they got off their horses and headed to one of the safe homes were they decided to rest from the long horse ride, but the kid who was with them left to see were the Dragon had landed. As the kid turned the corner the kid noticed a little Elf girl exiting a carriage looking around admiring the site of the so called "Great" Dragon kings cave. The kid wasn't sure if he could kill the Elf girl when the time came cause she looked to be at least two years younger than him. He did how ever think that he can capture her along with the Dragon kings kid instead of having to kill the girl how ever he was fine with killing her parents and the Dragon's that ruined the land. The boy saw the kid dragon bow to the girl and kissed her hand like she was so special, then the dragon became an Elf like creature except with his dragon wings, eye color, and a smaller version of his horns.

Once the Dragon had reach the inner workings of the kingdom he landed on his hine legs so he can set the carriage down carefully along with the horses right in front of the Dragon kings cave and remained in his Dragon form making sure that when the Dragon king comes to welcome them he can help with his kings belongings. One by one the royal family exited the carriage just as the Dragon king emerged from his cave and lowered his head to welcome the royal family members and his brother who has protected the current king,  and kingdom of Fire paw. The dragon king introduced his son Blaze who was a red dragon with bright Yellow eyes that looked like alive with electricity, Blaze looked and saw May and bowed to her taking her hand in his and placed a kissed on it looking at her once he stood back up, Blaze shifted into his human form well the Dragon king asked if the royal family would follow him back in to his cave, the young princes looked around as the Blaze showed her around his home he even showed her his favorite spot in the cave which lead to a secret garden outside of the cave. 

Once they were outside the cave in the garden May ran around the garden admiring the many flowers, trees, and a small waterfall that looked to be ten feet tall and very loud, next thing she knows shes being picked up and flown around the garden by Blaze who kept a strong hold on May as he used his wings to carry them higher in the air. As Blaze saw May running around admiring the flowers and trees, he saw her stop at the waterfall looking at it with such aw and wonder just then he turned his head after heard a snapping sound come from the woods, keeping his eyes on the woods Blaze quickly made his way to May and wrapped his arms around her stomach with out her noticing and began to flap his wings flitting them off of the ground, well May enjoyed the flight around the garden Blaze was looking around for the thing that made the sound. Blaze contemplated on burning the garden down but he didn't want to make May sad, he then deiced that the best thing to do was to head back in side the cave and join the rest of their family in the dining hall. Once he had landed safely back on the ground with May he took her hand and lead her back in to the cave saying that it might be time for diner.
