Chapter 2 :

Thorn / May

It's was a cold and windy night in Panthrax,
"Aaaaaaaaaaah." As I was saying; it was cold in Panthrax a young princes was scared by her protector, "why would you do that." May said, scared off of her imperial blue chair with gold tassels.
"Oh calm down princess it's just me, besides I couldn't help myself Okay." Thorn said as he pick her up and started patting the young princess's back.
"It's alright I just came to check on you that's all." He said with a smirk on his face, knowing that the princess wouldn't like what is going to happen, looking at the princess in her usual blue night dress that she always wares before bed.
"Why are you smirking all of a sudden." She asked then with a Suddenly realization it hit her, the time had gone by faster than she anticipate and what time it was. "oh...no no no no no." Oh yes it was her bath time the only thing she heated more than her fencing lessons.
"Yes it's that time again this week were you need to take a bath and then its off to bed." He said caring her twenty feet to her bathroom and closing the door behind him before he puts her down so she doesn't try to escape like the countless times in the past from taking a bath.
"Do I have to, it's not like i don't have to take one in the morning tomorrow". She wines trying to by herself some time so she can escape like she has done countless times before.
"No you need to take one to day because you are going out with your parents tomorrow." He's replied looking down at the princess, still superior to her in height but will still do anything to prove useful to her ignoring the young girl.
"Thorn did you hear me." She yelled at him a little upset that he wasn't paying attention to her.
"I'm sorry you were saying May." He said feeling sorry for ignoring her. He looked at May who in return points to the porcelain tub.
"What about the tub." He replied to her only to hear her say, "if you expect me to take a bath then how do you expect me to if the water is freezing cold."
He responded by just look at her and said. "I don't see what you mean but if you say that it is cold then I will heat it up for you with my own flames."
"You would do that for me." She said with a shock look on her face.
"Yes I would but I can't do it in this form so I will have to shift back into my original form." He said with out taking his eyes off of the little princess, he began to take on his original form when his tail came out along with his wings, talons, horns, spins and scales as a dull Jade color with some of his scales tinted with black.
"You know what I think I prefer you in this form better than your human form." She said after he had just finished transforming into his dragon form.
Looking at her with his Emerald eyes "Yeah well don't get use to it because after I heat up your bath I'm going turn back into my human form by the way get behind me your highness." He said turning to face the tub and opening his mighty jaw to release his flames on to the tub enough for it to warm up and stay warm, but not hot enough to melt the tub. This took him five minutes to do.
"There you go your majesty the tub is warm up to your liking." He said after he had closed his jaw to prevent any more flames from escaping his jaw.
"Thanks Thorn but you know what I think you should stay in that form, for me." She said with a smile on her face.
"Now turn around I don't want you spying on me well I get in the bath." She said snickering.
"May why would anyone want to see a five year old girl bathing." He said turning carefully so he wouldn't brake anything with his tail and wings so the young princes can get in the tub after undressing.
"Well you never know people try to do very mean things these days." She said as she had just finished removing the last of her under garments and climb in to the tub.
"You have nothing to fear May, besides you have me and if anyone tries to see you well you bath I will burn them to a crisp and eat them hole." He said siting on his hind legs stretching his own arms and wings before shifting back in to his human form.
"Um Thorn." May said nervously.
"Yeah." Thorn replied.
"Um can you please get me my royal washcloth because its not in the tub and it is missing from my bathroom." She said turning as red as a the rgon fruit.
"Um sure I can help you out with that."

Time skip

After a long needed bath Thorn was Finally able to get May to sleep, making sure that her room was secure before heading to his nest to sleep in. It was then that Thron realized that May would be his Queen and life long mate that he would served her and no one else.

Rgon fruits are like plums but are the size of a grapefruits and tend to have stripes around the stem of the fruit.
