Letters to Harry // L.S

Liam got out of bed and grabbed his phone. He took a quick shower and got dressed. He drove quietly to the cemetery he recognized more than he wanted to.

Liam walked around, searching for his dear friend's grave. Once he saw it, his eyebrows knitted together in confusion. There was a flower and a note. He's usually the only one who visits Harry.

He sat down and looked more closely at the front of the note. 'From Louis' it read. He knew he probably shouldn't, but he couldn't help it. He picked up the note and opened it.

'Dear Harry,
This is it.
I thought I could handle it.
It's too hard.
I'm lucky I even made it this far.
I miss you.
I miss you.
I miss you.
I'm coming to see you.

Liam dropped the note and ran. He ran as fast as he could and jumped into his car, not even bothering to put his seatbelt on.

He pulled into the familiar driveway and got out of his car, rushing to the door. He knocked once. No answer. Twice. No answer.

He got worried. So, so worried. He kicked the door over and over until it finally opened. He opened the bedroom formerly shared between his two best friends.

"Louis?" He called. Nothing. "Louis where are you?" Nothing. He walked quickly out of the room and into the kitchen.

"Thank you all for coming. I'm Liam Payne, Louis' best friend. I have to be honest and say I never thought he'd do it. I knew how much pain he was going through but, I would never have guessed he was going to do it. But I'm happy that he did. Of course I wish he was here, we all do. But he was going through too much. He would call me in the middle of the night sobbing. I could barely understand the words leaving his mouth. He was broken. And there was no way he could have been fixed. But now he's with the love of his life, away from all of his pain"
