Midnight, Saturday night. There was an eerie sense creeping about the astronomy tower, and thus, Evie went to explore.
Of course, you should know how it goes by now: where trouble is, you'll find Evie Mystic there.
Anyway, so she perched atop the windowsill daintily, invisible, looking out at the stars from a long way up (three or four stories or so?). Her hand absently stroked her cat's black fur.
Neptunia's ear flicked upwards suddenly. "I hear footsteps."
"Well well," Evie said dryly as she hopped down from the windowsill. "At this time of the hour. Troublemakers, huh?"
"I don't want to hear that from you, Evie."
Evie shrugged indifferently. "Whatever. I already have a pretty appropriate hunch on who it is."
Her multicolored eyes glinted mischievously in the moonlight as a three figures stepped into the tower.

"So, a dragon, huh?"
"Aaaahh!" Harry and Hermione both cried out in surprise, nearly dropping the crate with the young dragon that they were carrying.
"Evie?" Hermione asked in shock. "What--what are you doing here?"
"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that, Little Miss Perfect?" Evie asked skeptically.
"Oh, um," Hermione stammered. "I was just, um--"
"How d'yeh know about the dragon?" Hagrid demanded.
"What, I confirmed it the other day in the library, didn't I?" Evie said quizzically.
"Well, yea, but--"
"Shh!" Harry insisted. "Listen, Evie, you can't tell anyone."
"I was actually on my way to the forbidden forest, to be honest," Evie shrugged nonchalantly. "So see ya round. Besides, if I tried to turn you on, then I'd have to answer why I was up in the middle of the night, and that's a pain."
She flipped backwards out the window and used her wand to levitate herself safely to the ground.
"Evie Mystic!"
Almost immediately, her name rang out in the night. Professor McGonagall stood there, fuming and furious--and holding Draco Malfoy by the ear.
"Oh, hell no," Evie swore at her carelessness. "Better run." She leaped in the air and whistled sharply, ignoring Professor McGonagall's yells.
Pluto appeared in the distance and dropped Evie's broomstick in her hand, where the girl maneuvered on to it easily and zoomed off in the night.

She got detention in the end anyway. It was scheduled for the next night, and Professor McGonagall had also taken fifty points off.
Eh, whatever.
She passed by the House Cup the next day to see two hundred points gone.
Evie frowned. "Not that I care, but I'm pretty sure I only lost fifty points."
"You lost fifty points?!"
It was Alicia Spinnet.
"I can't believe you--after we spent all that time building up the lead--"
"You know I don't care about crap like this. I do what I want to do. If you don't like it, deal with it," Evie snapped.
"You ditched during our last game as well!"
