Dash's POV

This is not how I wanted to go back to school. Fighting with the school bully, that's not how I wanted it. Who knows, maybe it will turn out better in the future. The magic of friendship still lies inside of me. I never leave my friends hanging.

I walked down the halls, trying to smile. Nobody saw my mishap with Gilda, that's good. If Principal Celestia found I would be sent detention. I've been there once, its not awesome.

Rarity, Sunset, and Pinkie was walking down the hall, so I joined them.

"Hey Rainbow Dash, how are you," asked Sunset.

"Awesome, what are you guys up to," I asked curiously.

"Didn't you hear, were having another musical showcase," said Pinkie, in her normal hyper voice.

"Cool, when is it"

"We don't know yet for sure, but we do know that The Rainbooms will win one again," said Rarity.

"I know, especially with me on it"

"Rainbow Dash"

"Sorry"

"You know, the showcase could use a song with feeling Rainbow," said Sunset.

"What do you mean, Awesome As I Wanna Be has feeling, its about how awesome I am," I said.

"Yea, but I mean about something other than yourself"

"That's going to be difficult"

"Relax Rainbow, you've got this"

"I hope I do"

"Oh Dash there is something I have been meaning to ask you," said Rarity.

"Yea what is it"

"About Soarin, did he say anything, uh what's the word again, sappy to you," she said.

"Uh no why"

"Oh nothing darling, just wondering"

"Howdy," hollered Applejack.

We all jumped and then realized it was Applejack.

"What are y'all talkin' about"

"Nothing really," said Pinkie.

"Aw shucks, I wanted to be in da conversation"

"You can Applejack dear," offered Rarity.

"Really," me and Applejack said together.

"Sure why not"

"Cmon, really,I don't think that's a good idea," I said worried.

"Its an excellent idea, alright Applejack want to talk with us"

I'm doomed, I thought.

"So what are y'all really talkin' about"

"We think Dash has a thing with the Co Captain of the Wonderbolts," Rarity whispered, and she's not good at it.

"Ya mean that Soarin guy"

"Yes, and I beat she thinks he's super cute," said Pinkie. I stood there blushing. She read my mind. Dang those Pinkie Senses.

"I have to admit, he is quite handsome," Rarity chimed.

"I think Rainbow got herself a winner," Sunset said with a grin.

"OK, we get it, can we change the subject," I blurted out.

"Man, we can't have girly conversations with you around huh," said Pinkie.

"No, you can't"

I decide to head to my locker, while my friends chatted, still probably about me. As I headed for 1st period, I felt uncomfortable.
