Dash POV

"Jerk," i whispered to Soarin. He was doing the smooching the cheek thing i hate. I dont mind him giving me a quick kiss, but i hate when he does this.

"What, cant show my affection"

"You know i hate that"

"Sorry," he paused for a minute. "Can i cuddle you atleast"

I growled in frustration. Soarin doesn't get that i dont like that stuff, i dont mind him giving me a kiss or hugging me, but cuddling is way off my standards.

"No, no cuddling, no kissing, no nothing"

I think i hurt his feelings when i said that.

I kinda feel bad. We're both new to this dating thing, maybe i shouldn't be too harsh on him.

"Um, what i meant was no nothing until later," i said faking a smile.

"I understand if you dont actually love me"

"No, no im not saying that, its just...im a little angry from you know who, and you know Mom and Scootaloo is here"

"Why dont you just come out clean and say it then"

"Look Soarin, i care about you a lot, and i just want everybody safe, i dont want to be doing all of that right now"

He just looked down at his shoes. He really was sad.

My Mom was still looking everywhere to find a way towards Nightmare Moon's castle, so technically were stuck right now.

Scoots was just laying on the ground with her eyes close. And me and Soarin, talking about cuddles.

It wasnt long before he finally sat down. I couldn't help but not actually feel guilty, he probably thinks i dont care for him.

I just sat down next to him, he didnt even look at me.

"Soarin"

He ignored me.

"Listen, im sorry if i made you feel bad, we both know were new to this, i think we should take it slow ok"

"Its not that, its just that i dont think you have the same feelings"

"Feelings for what"

"The same feelings i have for you"

"Soarin, of course i do, why would you think i dont"

"You hardly seem to show it, its mostly me who does"

"I dont usually like showing my feelings for people, i just find it sappy"

"I cant believe you survived all the sappy things we've been through," he said grinning.

"Yea me either," i said grinning back.

"Ill show it in a somewhat less sappy way, ill hold your hand and let you kiss it whenever, i just dont want you to think i dont love you," i continued.

"Thanks Dashie, you're the best"

"Yea i know"

"Aha, FOUND THE PATH," yelled Mom.

"Finally i thought i was gonna die from boredom," whined Scootaloo.

I grabbed Soarin's hand and we walked towards the path to the castle of doom.

*Sorry, i was literally typing as i thought of it in my head, so it might be a little weird, i dont know.

Sorry if it has a cliffhanger, im tired so...
