Jeremy flipped up the monitor and looked at the show stage. The bunny wasn't there. They were moving already? He flicked through the cameras trying to find the purple animatronic. The cameras blacked out. Jeremy panicked. He rolled his chair over to the left do and slapped his hand on the red button. The door slammed shut. He rolled over to the other door and closed it as well. He looked at the monitor to see his power usage. 86% left. And it was only 1:36 am. What would happen if he ran out of power? Jeremy shook the thoughts from his head. Right now he needed to keep focused on getting to 6 am.

He flipped up the monitor again and carefully scanned around the show stage camera. Perhaps he was missing something. Nothing. He changed the view to the backstage camera. Jeremy shrieked and dropped the tablet. A large crack formed across the screen.
"No!!!!" he screamed. He had seen a purple face staring at the camera. Now he couldn't check the cameras, and would possibly be charged for dropping the tablet. 74%. He opened up the doors so that he could conserve power. 2:37 am.

A purple figure arrived at the left door.
"Arghhh!!!" screeched Jeremy as he jumped from the chair and ran to the door. He pounded his fist on the button and the door slammed shut and he let a heavy sigh of relief. But just as he did an animatronic bear face and the purple bunny face flashed in front of his eyes. He scratched at his face hoping to get rid of the image. The words IT'S ME were added to his vision. He scratched faster, but only ended up with scratches and cuts all over his face. The vision finally cleared away.

Jeremy rubbed his forehead and pressed the door light.  A silhouette in the shape of the bunny animatronic showed on the the hallway wall. Jeremy looked down at his watch. 3:29. And 68% left. He was getting there. A rattling sound rung through the building. Jeremy bolted upright. Sweat was dripping all over his scratched forehead. The rattling sound grew louder and was followed by several clashes and bangs. Was there someone in the kitchen? How far away was the kitchen from his office?

The rattling suddenly stopped and a the yellow animatronic appeared at the door. "Nope!!" screamed Jeremy as he threw his stick of deodorant at the door button. 'Good thing I do baseball...' thought Jeremy, as the deodorant hit the button. He checked the poked the left door light button. The shadow was still there.

Minutes ticked by. 53%. 50%. Jeremy poked the left door light button again. "Phew," he sighed, "Is the duck still here?" He rolled over to the right side of his office. He edged his shaky hand over to the door light button and lightly pressed his hand down on it.
"Argghhh he screamed again. For he had seen the yellow chicken pressing it's ugly face against the window, scratching it with its beak. Raspy moaning filled the air.
"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr errr errr." He looked down at his watch. 4:58, 39%... 39% left!!!! "No no no no no no no no no no no no!!!!" he yelled at the duck.

The purple bunny appeared at his door once again. Jeremy screamed the words "No!" and closed the left door. He was trapped. And he still had 2 hours to go. He again checked the right door light. As he opened the door he let out a huge sigh of relief.
"One down, one to go." he said, looking impatiently at his watch. 5:32. 17%. He was losing power fast. He checked his left side. The bunny was still there. 12%. Jeremy checked his watch. 5:39. He checked the left door again. The bunny still standing there. 8%. 7%. Jeremy bit his fingernails and looked down at his watch again. 5:45. 6%. 5%. He turned the left door light on again. The purple figure was showing no sign of leaving. 2%. 1%. 0%.

Lights Out...
