I whined. I couldn't believe it, she had gotten worse. 'She.. She was fine when we came here, but.. She..she's completely mad. She not sane Luna.'
I fell to the ground, the Luna was still standing in shock at the scene before her. She growled, 'we find her! And we kill her! She murdered one of our own this, does not stand!'
She turned around and raced back to the pack, I followed her. I wasn't sure where Silver-Mist was but I didn't want to be caught alone by her either. When we reached the rest of the pack Luna instantly went over to Alpha to tell him what had happened. He pawed the ground nervously and whimpered, danger from the Tailless hunting packs or other wolves he could handle. But a wild insanely sick wolf who tore his best fighters throat out didn't cut well with him.
He growled to get the packs attention, I could hear many growls and whimpers. Wolves asking each other where Storm was.
Again he gave a growl to get their attention, his ears perked up straight not showing his fear. 'I have reason now to believe that there is a predator worse than any that we have to fear. It has killed one of our own, Storm was trying to help but Silver-Mist, sister of Juniper has gone mad. She killed Storm, Luna and Juniper came across the horrible scene earlier today.' He paused to let this sink in, the pack all grumbled together shuffling about nervously. One of the older wolves in the pack, Nightingale spoke up. 'Well what are you expecting of us to do Alpha?'
He looked at me assessing my reaction before bowing his head, 'we are to hunt down any who kill our own as has always been pack law.'
A chorus of approving howls erupted at his words, a hunt was excitement to them even to a wolf, they didn't know Silver-Mist so they weren't upset only eager to begin.I on the other paw couldn't move a muscle, kill? My sister!? I couldn't! I wouldn't! I gave a high wailing cry and fell to the ground. Nightingale came over to me and placed her white paw on my back in comfort, she understood this was hard. It would be the hardest thing I'd ever done. And a storm was picking up, Silver-Mist was out there alone weak helpless and the storm would probably kill her.
SILVER-MIST'S POV
I ran through the dark swirling trees, branches lashing out and whipping my face. Warning me back, or telling me to go back to the pack. I howled into the storm, I don't know what's wrong with me. Everything was confusing, my thoughts buzzing about in my head I couldn't get a hold of them. And I'd killed one of the wolves of Junipers pack !! What are they going to do now, I didn't know so I ran off. I was in so much pain and very very scared. The storm was blowing up even worse, covering the Up in a dark swirling cover, I couldn't see where I was running.
I knew I should be seeking shelter but I kept running, I ran so fast I didn't see the edge of the cliff till I went over it. Spiralling down into the darkness below.Silver-Mist in the middle, Juniper on the right (changed the name didn't like Fox-Ears) sandy on the left. Luna is next to sandy and the wolf next to juniper is Alpha. 🐺
Sorry it's a short chapter it'll get longer again sorry. 😝😘
