13: Calm Down

As I stood over Samtha with my gun aiming at her face. She looked at me trembling begging for me not shoot her. I had to put a little scare in her in order for her to leave Mia alone.

I looked over at my Mia and she looked at me with so much disgust and fear. She looked so frightened and her body was shaking. She then took off running to her car.

Corey yelled and ran behind her. She didn't look back and got in her car and drove off. Jasmine pulled me back from Samtha.

"Cuz we not trying to kill the girl and you scared Mia off."

"I know cuz" I put my gun away and rubbed my head in frustration. I over did it this time. I looked at the big mess. Dayday was still knocked out and Samtha crying with blood everywhere.

"Look I'll take care of these two and make sure they don't do no talking and you go find Mia and calm her down." Jasmine said.

"Thank you cuzo" I got in my car. I called Mia but no answer. I didn't mean to scare her. I was trying to avenge her. I drove to Mia apartment complex.  I didn't see her car in the parking lot. Man where can this girl be? I don't have time for another goose chase. I drove to her parents house and it was completely dark. I knew nobody was there.

Next stop her house. I didn't remember exactly how to get there. It took me a couple of wrong turns but I finally got there. There were two cars in the driveway. One was Mia's and the other one looked real familiar. I got out and knocked on the door.

Mia open the door with her eyes puffy and red. The smell of marijuana hit me. Mia smoking? Who the hell got her smoking?

"What Keon?"

"Hey Mia I'm sorry. My bad about earlier."

"Save it Keon. I don't want anything to do with you. You brung so much drama to my life over sex. I don't want you to come around me at all. I don't want to have sex with you anymore. Stay away from me." She slammed the door in my face. For the first time ever my chest felt heavy.
I went to my car angry as hell. I can't believe this shit.

I got a text from Jasmine letting me know everything was taken care of.  I drove off mad and went to the crib. I couldn't even smoke that's how shook up I was. I stayed up all night with Mia on my mind.

It's been four almost five months since that night Keon pulled that gun on Samtha. Things sure has changed. I don't talk to Keon at all when we have class together I just ignored him completely. Samtha and Dayday haven't bothered me. They turn their heads when they see me. I also haven't talked to Cory as much. I miss him but he as well put me in an uncomfortable position. Him of all people knows that's not my style. He also told Keon where my house is at. Things between us hasn't been the same.

I've been staying at my house since the incident. I've been too scared to go back to my apartment.

X and me are really good friends. We smoke mostly and just talk. He's been a lot more open lately. He manly tells me about what he's been through and his baby mama drama. Eli also came back 3 months and a half ago. We got back in touch he explained that he had family problems and he didn't need to be distracted. I understood that and gave him another chance we are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
