Chapter 7: Lost

Harry's POV

"What the hell was that all about?" Liam walked over to me, and I could tell that he was furious. His eyes were looking directly into mine, and his mouth was moving frantically with every word he said. He was in my face, yelling about how Louis had disrespected him in his own home, but for most of the 'speech' I blocked out every word he said.

"Shut up," My voice grew deeper the more frustrated I got with him, "Just shut the hell up." I finally just let the words that have been piling up inside me, and I felt no guilt at all.

"It wasn't that much of a big deal, so why are you making it like some damn show? YOU'RE the one who was giving him dirty looks here and there, he didn't do anything to make you upset. Actually, he should be the ones that's pissed, not you. Yeah, he was in 'your' house, but I still could have some freedom considering I split the damn bill with you every month. So just drop it, alright?" I said.

I clenched up my hand into a fist trying to calm myself down. Out of all of the months I've spent here, not one time have I spoke to him like this. I didn't want to act this way, I was never the type of person to just explode like that.. and neither was Liam. No matter what had happened he would never have any negative emotions towards anything. It's like that boy was made out of steal or something. That smile on his face would never turn into a frown; It was actually kind of scary in a way. I've never heard him actually vent to one of the lads in the house about something in his life and I'm pretty sure even the guys noticed that about him.

Liam stood there for a few seconds, speechless. He looked around the room a couple of times and ran his fingers through his short brown hair, still not knowing how to reply. I heard the beep of Louis' car horn as he speeded off down the road and as soon as he disappeared I felt the room begin to tense up. I was waiting for Liam to say something back to me or to run towards me to punch me right in the face but he just kept standing there with his head down, I saw that his eyes were beginning to turn red, and I saw the wetness in the corner of his eyes. At that point I felt like a total dick.

"You're right," he looked up at me biting his bottom lip slightly, "I'm sorry Harry. I shouldn't have even- I mean- I can't help it that I get jea- god damnit.." he said while rubbing the back of his neck.

"Wait.. what did you just say?" My voice got higher when I almost heard that word come out of his mouth. Jealous? I was unsure of what he said, but that word just popped out to me for some mysterious reason. I haven't even hung out with Louis for a full day and he's already jealous?- Wait, why the hell would he be jealous in the first place- Wait no stop, I don't even know if he said that or not so why am I thinking so hard on this? I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. I mean I would never think that Liam would be the jealous type anyway. He quickly looked up at me and started shaking his head.

"I didn't mean for that to slip out. I wasn't going to say that at all.. I mean.."

I cut him off as he spoke. "Liam don't sweat it," I walked over to the side of my bed and grabbed a pair of black tight jeans and took off the sweatpants I had on, then I tossed them over on the chair by my desk. I had a pair of boxers on that looked like black basketball shorts, so I wasn't in a hurry to put the jeans on.

"It doesn't matter anymore, just leave. I can't talk to you right now." I looked over at him seriously and his frown turned into a straight face. He was probably expecting me to forgive him right away, but I wasn't even going to deal with this bullshit right now. He started walking over to the doorway to exit my room, and before he left he looked back at me. His face seemed paler than usual and he seemed completely calm for some reason. I saw that his body was tensing up a bit when he tried to spit out a last sentence to me, but he was interupted by a blonde boy coming into my room. The boy put his hand on Liam's shoulder and he had a big smile on his face. He had beautiful teeth, and his hair was combed up perfectly; It just looked really soft. It looked nothing like my hair but I doubt that I'll find somebody around here with these ridiculous curls, but his hair was just way beyond-compare. I noticed that it was one of our room mates. The blonde haired boy was actually Niall Horan. I've never really talked to the lad, but he always seemed like he was humorous. From all the way down in the kitchen I would hear that boy laughing hysterically, even from all the way up in my room. He would always be cracking jokes between the other guys in the house, but I never really actually spoke to him before.
