{1} My first day in Tulsa

"Bye mama."I said teary eyed."You be good,don't get hurt there."I sighed,"I won't mama."I hugged my mom

one more time and said my final goodbyes.I headed toward the lady and handed her my ticket for the

plane.Once I found my seat I stared out the window and thought about how my new life would be,drifting off to

a deep sleep...

"ma'am wake up."I woke to a flight attendant shaking me.I looked around and saw that half the plane was

empty."Sorry my bad."I said grabbing my bags and heading towards the door.

I scanned the airport for my dad or Keith.I didn't see any one of them.I took a seat and waited.I saw a cute

boy,no he wasn't cute,he was HOT!But he looked like he was way too older for me so I passed.Anyways he was

walking towards me and once he was more near me I got up and stood up straight.He looked really familiar

since I can really see more of his face.Was he a friend of Keith?

"Do I know you?"I asked the boy."Are you Katie Matthews?"The boy said."Yup that's me!"He grinned and I

had to crack a grin too,his was contagious! "Anyways I'm a friend of two-bit and he asked me to pick you up."

Two-bit?Who the heck is Two-bit?Before I could even asked he said,"Here,let me help you."He said grabbing

my heavy suitcase.We were now outside and we got inside a car.

The car ride is pretty awkward right now.Out of nowhere I asked,"What's your name?"I asked this because I

never caught it."Oh yeah,I'm Sodapop."He said grinning."Are you serious,that's your real name?"I

grinned."Yeah,it says so on my birth certificate.My brother is Ponyboy."Woah,Ponyboy and Sodapop?!Some

names...

"How old are ya Katie?"Soda asked."Im fifteen?"I said."Aw that's a shame.My brothers fifteen."He looked

disappointed.Maybe he wanted to date me,nah.Hopefully his brother is good looking too,because he's my age!
