The day I came to Tulsa,was the day I had started to grow feelings for Ponyboy.Well,that was yesterday.We

talked and talked about our lives,how we both love books,and watching sunsets.We both even skipped a

grade!But I knew he didn't think of me the way I think of him.He thinks of me as a friend and I have to accept

that.Maybe I have a chance with someone else in the gang?(Keith told me about the Greasers and Socs,and to

stay away from Tim Shepards' gang.)Im meeting all of them after school today.

I curled my hair and tied it into a high pony.I wore a light blue dress,and put on some white heels since I'm

way shorter than Ponyboy(I will post the outfit).Ugh why do I care so much!Whatever.I did some natural make-

up and called for Keith."Just wait a second!"Keith called down the stairs.He finally got down and combed his

hair one more time."You really that excited?"He questioned."No..."I lied."Come on Katie,I know you're

lying!"Keith hollered."Fine Keith!im lying."I confessed."Keith?No one calls me that anymore."Oh so I guess they

do call him 'Two-bit'."Oh...so they call you Two-bit?"I asked."Yup!"Keit- I'm mean Two-bit said joyfully.

We continued walking when Two-bit said,"So what was the truth?"Should I really tell him?He is my own

brother."Ummmm."I started to look down at my shoes thinking of an excuse."Umm,what?"My brother said

looking at me.He stopped and stopped me too,"Are you excited for Sodapop?Because he dropped out and he is

way to older."wait did he just say Sodapop?I wasn't excited for him!"Look sis,I really like Sodapop.I respect

him,and I would be fine if you dated."Two-bit said continuing to walk."Look Two-bit,Im n-"I was cut off by

Two-bit,"You know what?Im arranging you guys a date!Im ditching,see you after school Katie!"Oh no.I couldn't

even refuse!He kept talking and talking like a preppy girl!I wanted to date Ponyboy,I wanted to be with

Ponyboy.But I can't because now,I got a date with Sodapop.The boy I DONT want to be with.
