I walked up to the school and examined it.Wow it sure didn't look as nice and fancy as my old school.But I

didn't mind since we were on the poor side of town anyways.I repeated what Two-bit told me in my mind; Act

like a Soc since your pretty and 'rich looking',don't be rude to greasers,stay away from Socs.I didn't want to act

like a Soc though,by the looks of it I just passed by a group of preppy girls and I didn't want to be like them.All

snotty and mean.They were laughing when I passed by.I hate being the new kid.

"Hey!Katie,is that you?"I heard a familiar voice yell.I turned around and it was Ponyboy."Hey Pony it's me."I

said when he caught up.I looked down being happy that I get to talk to him."Can I see your schedule?"He asked

me.I handed him my schedule without hesitation and smiled.Ponyboy scanned the paper.I saw him smile the

biggest smile I've ever seen,"We got 4 classes together!All in a row!The last two you have is one with your

brother,and the other is with Johnny."Johnny?Who is Johnny?"Um Ponyboy,who's Johnny?"I asked."Oh

yeah,he is part of the gang.You'll meet him later."Pony said handing me back my schedule.

"You look real pretty today,Katie."Pony complimented.I looked down and blushed so Pony wouldn't see.I

looked up and said,"Thanks Pony.You look nice as always."He just smiled and took my hand.He took my

hand.He.took.my.hand.It was kind of hard to process through my mind.The boy I'm falling for took my

hand!He started running into the school and stopped when he realized what he just did.Did he feel the

electricity like how I did?Ponyboy just looked me in the eye and started to lean forward.I did the same,but we

stopped when we heard the bell ring.Oh great.Great way to ruin a great moment.

Pony and I just stood there in silence,and I felt myself getting red from embarrassment."Uhm,we should get

to class."I said snapping Ponyboy from his trance.He looked at me again and said,"First can I ask you

something?"I nodded my head."I know you just moved here yesterday,but I really like you Katie.Will you be my

girl?"He asked looking me in the eye pleadingly.I didn't know what to say!The boy I am falling for,well I can

now say I really love him,asked me to be his girlfriend!I had a date with Sodapop though and I couldn't tell him

that.Tears started to form in my eyes when I found out I couldn't make a choice between the two."I-I-I'm sorry

Ponyboy I need t-to take a break."I stuttered; the tears fully coming out now.I ran away from Pony.I saw the

sadness in his eyes when I told him that.What did I just do?Im fucked up.I regret saying that to him.I love

Ponyboy,not Sodapop!

I ran to the little lake I remember going to with Two-bit,Mom and Dad.When I got there I collapsed and

bawled my eyes out.I finally stopped after maybe an hour and rolled in the green grass.I got up and started to

walk towards the sand leading to the water of the lake.While kicking rocks into the shallow,clean sparkly water.I

thought,why do I make choices like this?I wonder what Ponyboy was doing right now.Probably NOT bawling his

eyes out,he might be making sucking faces with a Soc.He didn't deserve a girl like me.People say I'm flawless

and beautiful; but I'm not.When it started getting dark I got up and started walking home.I have to get ready for

the date with the boy I DO NOT love; nor even like.He wasn't my type,he may be cute but he isn't like me.Thats

what I liked about Pony we can relate to things.We were like the same person.

[A/N OMFG!C'mon you had to admit,this chapter was pretty sad.I feel bad.Anyways vote and comment for more!And sorry my chapters are short; i will make the future ones a lot longer!]
